mmm i didn't read the rest before i posted..but mine fits and i just got her a little while ago..never used her though..
but i am not a good image person as i think i need to lose like 20 pounds..so i dunno how to tell you my size....but it does fit on me and i think i'm chubby

I just got a new 06 Work and it's a little snug over the shoulder........but then again, I have chunky arms.:shame: I don't usually carry my bags on my shoulder anyway, but I'm hoping to stretch it out a bit by putting in some heavy weights so that if I needed to, I could wear it on the shoulder.

My 06 Work does go over my shoulder. I think I'm about the same size as you (5'4", ~115 lbs, size 2-4). I can also wear the City on my shoulder, which is a tighter fit than the Work. I don't think I could wear it on my shoulder if I were wearing a coat, though.

this is off topic... that rouge vif courier u have pictured on ur siggy.. from rdc.. was my sisters... LoL.. ;)

^ Your sister 'R' got the Rouge Vif Purse... I hope she's loving it!

The combination of my chunky arms and ample bosom leaves me using the detachable shoulder strap on the styles with them. I wouldn't feel comfortable carrying the Work, Purse, Bowling or Brief by the handles unless they've stretched out a lot b/c I'm way too scared about getting sweat or deodorant on them.

For shoulder bags I go for some of the non-motorcycle styles as well as the Day, Shrug, Hobo and various Messenger styles. I'm really glad so many of the styles do come with the shoulder strap, b/c I almost always carry them that way.

Hey Beaux!
I have an 06' Truffle work and it does not easily fit over my shoulder. I can take pics if you want.... But I'm 5'9" and size 6 on top. Just let me know- it sounds like you are smaller! But if you're looking for a similar style, I ADORE the brief- great suggestion Nicole! I've got one and it has the same "office" kind of look and fits wonderfully over the shoulder!

HTH!

I just can't seem to make up my mine. I want to try "the office" (in a '06 color) but I don't want to hand hold a bag that big all the time....

I am falling in love with the Bbags and have been reading and looking at all of the posts of the gorgeous bags! I only wear bags on the my shoulder. Which style should I consider? I don't care for messenger bags. I am kind of leaning to the slim, but I can't figure out what colors they come in. I want a bag I can wear with most outfits, as this would be my everyday for the fall and winter. I wear alot of black, denim, wine and purple. Any suggestions?

Have you seen the Day? This is not a messanger bag but a definite shoulder bag and is very comfortable for every day. There is a Day club you should look at to see how the style looks on a lot of different people. Other bags like the City and Twiggy have a shoulder strap, but they really don't stay on the shoulder as well. I have two Day bags and love them. The only thing I don't like about the Slim (although I don't have one) is the double handles, and I don't find those stay well on the shoulder. Color is another matter - there are beautiful colors out there, but something neutral always looks good. I just got a Twiggy in black cherry that I think also compliments a lot of colors. Don't know if that is made in the Slim, but it is in the Day.

Try out the brief!! I love this style. The straps are more shallow but definitely fit very easily over the shoulder. And because they are shallow, the fact that there are two straps does not affect the comfort. I use mine for day time, work and night! HTH!

I have seen many gorgeous Twiggies alone or carried by the handles but I have not seen a modeling shot of a Twiggy using the shoulder strap. As a shoulder-bag person, I have been a bit disappointed in how the City looks using the shoulder strap. Does the Twiggy look the same? I would appreciate any comments or photos from Twiggy owners.
