At the moment, I'm consumed by H bags and Ines de la Fressange's book, "Parisian Chic". I thought I'd combine the two and ask you what are your five essential H bags? According to Ines' list, every woman should have in her wardrobe a tote, a clutch, a satchel, a ladybag, and a strawbag (we can call this toile). Looking forward to your responses. Please be as specific as you can about size, leather, color, hardware.

hmmmmmm.... I wish I owned five H bags..... dang!
Well as my lady bag hmmmm my 35 cm Kelly sellier in vert emeraude croc that has not yet arrived, as my every day tote I have to say my black swift GHW 35cm. And then all my other 35 cm because I don't like shoulder bags or satchels to be honest. As a clutch well I don't own one but a medor in black box PHW, but I kind of don't love H clutch bags. My straw bag I have to say my Hermes beach woven cabat or my herbag with in the beige toile option.

I think it depends on your lifestyle. Years ago what I thought were the essential 5 has changed to what I find are the essential 5 today. Right now for me in the summer: Marwari, Lindy, Birkin 30, Trim, & Massai Cut.
My 5 essentials: 
Whitebus GM in Black Box, Whitebus GM in another color, Kelly Sellier in Box, Bolide, and Toile Garden Party PM.

2. Clutch: Black Box Kelly Cut / Rouge H Lizard Kelly Pochette/ Black Medor in shiny poro with PHW or Box with GHW
3. Lady Bag: Brique Box Kelly Sellier 35 with White contrast stitch
4. Shoulder: Potiron Marwari
5. Straw: Barenia Naturel and Toile Birkin 35

Summer: Marwari toile PHW, Lindy Parchmein GHW, Birkin 30 Barenia PHW, Trim I 31 barenia & toile PHW, Massai Cut Gris T.
Winter: Kelly 28 chocolate box, BBB 35 GHW, Bolide 37 Graphite, Lindy Cafe, Bolide 31 Indigo Box.
My five essential H bags would be a casual leather (barenia) 30cm Birkin, a more dressy Rouge H box 30cm Birkin, a red 32cm Kelly (for days when I attempt to imitate Vanessa Paradis in Heartbreakers), a 36cm Garden Party in toile/leather for travel, and a Kelly 25 or Kelly Pochette or Kelly long wallet in an exotic for a clutch. Of course, my collection right now barely resembles this list, but a gal can dream!
