What Are You Releasing Back Into The Wild?

better to be more cautious on your purchases, because if you were tight on $350 and had to take over $800 loss to get $350, you may tight in the future too. Current market is very volatile, what if you couldn't sell it when you need money?
The Speedy was from 1998, so it was really old. Then 3 years ago, I had the full vachetta replaced so it looked practically new. But I know that's probably why I got such a low ball offer from FP, because LV removes the serial code tag when vachetta is replaced.

Yes, definitely mono again. I had the mono before, but it had someone else's initials on the bag since I bought it from FP. Didn't bother me at first, but then it started to. So I sold it back. Next time, I'm going to get a plain monogram.

In the future, you can always replace the strap if you want instead of selling. My preloved DE Karakoram NF was also heat stamped with someone else's initials (not mine). I was able to gently remove the gold thanks to YouTube suggestions, but the imprint bothered me. I've just sent it in for a new strap... at $350, it was quite reasonable. Means the bag will be authenticated and truly mine.

Good luck with your next bag! We release some bags back into the wild to free space in our closets for all the new bags we're going to love!

I have the Karakoram NF and speedy! rarely use it but won’t sell it. I loved that it was some extra than just DE…
I adore the Karakoram collection, too! I started collecting LV after 2018, so I missed it. Don't blame you for not selling... grateful to whoever consigned mine! I love it and always get compliments when I wear it. It's a DE NF with a twist!

I saw a Karakoram Speedy on TRR recently, but didn't bite before someone snatched it up. My final LV 2024 purchase will likely be the cognac Neverfull... and then it's Ban Island 'til 2024!

It wasn't a hot stamp on the strap, it was a custom made NF with the initials and color stripes on the bag/monogram itself. But, I don't regret selling it back. I just plan on buying another one in the future LOL.

Thanks for the suggestion though.

I'm honestly surprised that FashionPhile would accept an LV bag with someone's initials in large print on the front of it, and even more surprised that someone else would buy it (whose initials don't match). The audience for that would generally be extremely limited, so I'm curious what low ball offer the original seller accepted for it.

price or maybe someone's initials matching these, or some people don't mind it, or some may paint over these initials.

last time I saw in market a set of like brand new Neverfull heritage at $600ish, was very attempting. also another time I saw a like new heritage speedy b 40 mono at $500ish, was super attempting too.

I finally sent off my graffiti zippy wallet to its new home today. I'm a bit saddened by this, but I truly never used it. I told my partner I had sold it and he said, which wallet? I showed him a picture and he swears he's never even seen it :giggle: I probably only carried it 15 times in the 15 years since I bought it! At the time when I bought it, it was the only thing I could afford from this collection and I just wanted to have a piece of it. I mainly use a simple card holder as my wallet, so this was just way to big and bulky for my pocket and seemed like a hassle to have to unzip every time I needed something from it when I carried it inside of a larger bag. After all the eBay fees and shipping cost, I made out with $3 more than I paid for it in 2009, not bad!

Edited to add: I suppose I'm going to need a new avatar now for the forums!

This looks in new condition, would be a collector’s piece, shall sell anywhere $750-950😘

Wow, took that long?!
Yeah, I had even just reached out to one of the IG pages I follow that does consignment to list it for me as well, and then it sold the next day on eBay. I negotiated with the buyer because I had it listed at $600 or best offer and they came in at $500 and I said let’s meet in the middle and they agreed. It’s someone who said it is their dream wallet, so I’m glad it’s going to a home where it will be used and loved!

That’s seems a good buyer. I think the reason you don’t use it probably because you are a guy, guys usually put wallet in ther back pocket, while women normally put in their bags. I have same style wallet, I use it quite often when I need a wallet to fit in a small bag and holds more cards, cash etc.
