I released a bunch that have been sitting and not been used in awhile. I released the girolata in DA, a graceful pm in DA, a Diane in monogram , the evora in DE, 2 speedy 25’s in leather, 1 speedy 40, 2 speedy 30, a denim I rarely touched, almost all my zippy wallets because I never use them anymore and a few bandeaus. It took a few months but It felt good to let go of them. I have a few stragglers left to get rid of but feeling good about it.
I added a couple new ones I really wanted in their place and am glad I did. I need my collection to a more comfortable useable level. And I had to pay for the dang p9’s 😂

I finally sent off my graffiti zippy wallet to its new home today. I'm a bit saddened by this, but I truly never used it. I told my partner I had sold it and he said, which wallet? I showed him a picture and he swears he's never even seen it :giggle: I probably only carried it 15 times in the 15 years since I bought it! At the time when I bought it, it was the only thing I could afford from this collection and I just wanted to have a piece of it. I mainly use a simple card holder as my wallet, so this was just way to big and bulky for my pocket and seemed like a hassle to have to unzip every time I needed something from it when I carried it inside of a larger bag. After all the eBay fees and shipping cost, I made out with $3 more than I paid for it in 2009, not bad!

Edited to add: I suppose I'm going to need a new avatar now for the forums!
This is gorg. I totally get not using it as much as you’d like. May as well turn the cash into something else! I don’t think the price you sold it is bad at all!

City Steamer PM in carmel croc. I would have never purchased a bag at that price had it not been for what I referred to as the "great bag buyback" when LV gave me store credit for several bags that had defective glazing. It's a stunning bag, but with my casual lifestyle I just never carry it. Seemed a little sad to leave it sitting in the closet when someone will love it and carry it.
Is there a “what are you bringing back from the wild” sub thread? After waiting a few weeks for this beauty to sell, I brought it home. I will never have the opportunity to have another bag like it. Happy to have it back and will look for more occasions to carry!

I totally get your sadness. Stephen Sprouse used to be my favorite clothing designer, (when I lived in NYC, I had purchased so many clothing items from his collections from his store) so when he came out with this collaboration with LV, I wanted a piece sooooo bad, but couldn't afford it back then. A few years ago I finally bought a pre-loved NF GM in fuchsia from FP, and I loved it, but realized it was just too big for me. I rarely used it except for travel, and I don't travel a lot, so it was a waste. I ended up selling it back a few months later. Although I don't regret it, a part of me misses having a piece from that collection.

I sold my DE PA….I enjoyed it for awhile but Im kindve over the DE print and prefer SLGs.

I may pickup a vintage PA eventually but until then I am enjoying my mono business card holder and my card holder from the Tyler collab :)

I have a pouchette in green. It's much easier to wear. I put a long strap on it and wear it as a bag, not an accessory because i don't want to scratch it. I see them a lot on the second hand market. I love SS too!

I really wanted to hold on to that Oldie,
because of sentimental reasons,
the reason being we are pretty much exactly the same age. (VI 8904)
However, I haven't used her in over a year, so I feel like its time to re-home her.

While I very much liked wearing this beauty, she just doesn't hold enough as an overnight/weekend bag for me.
I'm much happier with a Keepall.

I’m considering letting my Speedy Bandolier 30, mono Miele and zippy coin go. I never used the Speedy or the zippy, both are brand new, I bought the Miele pre loved and used it once.

I'm about to let my black Empreinte Carryall PM go. I am a die hard silver hardware gal, and although I love the bag itself, I've been only "tolerating" the gold hardware. I recently got an Empreinte Diane in Brume/Quartz with silver hw, and have a black Buci with silver coming, so it's time to bid farewell for the absolutely gorgeous, but not quite for me, Carryall PM.
