It was a very popular bag in 2016ish
You made me laugh because I purchased this bag in Nov 2015! Your timeline is spot on!
I used it as a workhorse for 2 years and I still think of it fondly, though I have started carrying much smaller bags now with 3 young kids to keep track of when I leave the house. Mine was recalled for glazing issues a couple of years after I purchased it, though it was still in very good condition. Sometimes I wish that I had kept it, but I wanted the refund while they were offering it in case the glazing got worse.

Thinking of rehoming 2 bags that I adore: Garden Speedy and Nano Speedy

Thoughts on mixing metals in terms or jewelry/bag hardware?

I am struggling about whether or not I should release these bags due to the gold hardware and the whole look of the Garden bag is metallic gold. I recently found out that I am allergic to gold so I have had to replace all my yellow gold jewelry with rhodium plated white gold/platinum/silver... And now my bags with gold hardware are sitting unused as I don't really mix metals (it didn't used to bother me to mix metals, now it does). I hate having bags that I don't use and also don't love having more than 10 bags at one time and I am currently over.

I love mixed metals, have several pieces that are just that.

I’m a big fan of mixing metals. That said I don’t think I’ve ever noticed or considered handbag hardware in that equation (just jewelry). Ultimately it’s your look, style it the way you want to!

@LuxVegas sorry to hear you are allergic to gold:heart:. I love anything gold but have no problems at all mixing metals. I currently wear yellow gold, white gold and rose gold bracelets together.

I never, ever thought I would let it go but pretty sure this week I am going to let go of my PSM. I've considered this a few times this year and sat on it to be sure. I think I am sure now.

The last few times I've carried it, I've found it to be fussy. I have determined that I am a crossbody bag kind of gal, but I don't like to wear this bag as a crossbody. The straps slip off of my shoulders and even on the shortest setting they're a little longer than I like.

Really hoping I don't regret this decision!!

I totally get it. That's how I feel about my yellow vernis Alma BB that I decided to sell back. I hope I don't regret this decision.

I feel these can be hard decisions but if you’ve gotten to the place where you’ve decided to let it go, it must be the right choice.

I‘m moving into a phase where something must go if I want to get something else. And with two vacations this year and the holidays coming, I am trying to be more mindful of frivolous spending.

"The" palm springs mini backpack? I wear it crossbody too, never slips off, do you wear it at the front or at back?

I agree completely. I have a gorgeous Mahina on layaway at FF right now, and I know I would get a lot more use out of that bag than the Alma BB (which I only use on the weekends). It'll be one of my many work bags.

I don’t think you will if it’s fussy. I have the original psm and while I like it the zipper is tough to open and close. I’ve thought about selling but not sure I want to yet. Plus I lost the straps that came with it so I use a different mono strap and I think resellers won’t buy without the straps. I wear it cross body and don’t have any issues..

Hehehe, yes, the Palm Springs Mini. I don’t like how it looks on me as A crossbody bag.

I’ve gone through a couple of Alma BB’s. I absolutely love the way they look, but when I wear one it just doesn’t work for me.

It’s always good to get a bag you know you will use and love. These bags cost too much to just sit in the closet and not be carried!

I don’t like how it looks as a crossbody on me. I’ve thought about letting it go for two years now, but waited it out and wore it a few times to be sure. Lately I’ve put it back in the closet right away.

If I don’t get a reasonable quote from a reseller I’ll just hold on to it. The reseller offers have been low lately. I’d rather just keep it and try to carry it than let it go for vary little.
