Those items to me looked like dog collars , I was not sure of the length of them as I didnt see them on E bay ( presume they where on E bay)

Or possibly of skirts

Here is a pic of the messenger bag where these straps/"doo dads" are supposed to be attached. The bag is box or swift (don't remember!) and crinoline. The attachments are sold separately - sort of like decorative pieces for a simple bag... hehe!

WOW!!!! I think we have a winner!!! If the bag in AABs picture is one that has been around for a while, it looks like the strappy doo dads would go on it!

I dont know about the holes, etc...but I think we are definitely in the right neighborhood----
