What about this guy!!??

Thank you, Lescoy!

toiletduck - Hi again - sorry to have taken so long!!

I'm posting a link to Siberian Cat World website - if you take a look around. Click into 'breeders' there are a couple in Australia -

I think its really important though to do lots of research about the Breed etc., as its a large cat - but there is a lot of information there -

http://www.siberiancatworld.com/index.html

Also - for information -

http://www.moggies.co.uk/breeds/siberian.html

and also - information regarding the hypo-allergenic status -

*sigh* unfortunately it would cost WAAAAAAAAAAAAY too much for my family to get one right now. I could get a locally bred Exotic for roughly 300 EURO or one that has American champion bloodlines for 700 EURO. To ship it all the way to Hong Kong would cost me around 1400+ Euro. Obviously my family would most likely be allergic to the exotic so that's a no. It's just much too much.

Thanks so much for your help anyway, Lescoy. Getting a Siberian will have to be put on the back-burner for now.

toiletduck - Hi - the Exotics are nice - I've handled them at Shows. You are right though the allergy thing would be there for sure.

At least though you have weighed it up and been able to make an informed decision before you really got 'into it'.

Meantime - I'll keep you posted here on my Siberian!

I've read a lot about exotics and I really like their temperaments. I tend to gravitate towards cats that have dog-like personalities and I like them to be large or cobby as well. I just think it's cute!

Please do keep us all posted on your Siberian! I can't wait to see pictures of him when he's all grown up!
