They will investigate. They will seize and destroy the item. They may very likely press charges. And since /buying/ a counterfeit item is a crime as well as selling one, and since importation is against the law and very, very heavily inspected, the buyer could face charges as well if they try to import it back into the country, return or no.

Not a situation I'd like to face, since I very much enjoy traveling to France. And since you cannot be required to perform illegally, Ebay cannot make you return an item to a seller which could result in you being charged with a crime. Destoy it? Sure. Return it to Ebay for disposition? No prob. Turn it over to LV with a receipt to show Ebay that it was remanded to the holder of the copyright? Absolutely. Send it back to the seller? No way in he!!.

You should be out no money on this transaction, except the cost to send it to Ebay (domestically, so it should be cheaper than internationally!) if they require you to send it to them. And possibly an authentication, if they require that.

Just wait and escalate asap. Don't worry you are covered by Ebay buyer protection.:smile1:
Did you pay by CC? Get the paperwork ready for a chargeback Just in case.
One way or another, you will get your $ back.

The other bag is fake as well. She knows what she is doing!

Since you have opened your SNAD just let it take its course... your seller has
a certain amount of time to reply and if you really are having a problem with
pp, you can do a chargeback with your cc... just all your paperwork in order
to file with your cc... you should not be out the money... your seller right
now is playing hardball with you... she probably thinks you are going to go away..
you have a strong case let your hand play out, IYKWIM.....

The seller posted a reply to your feedback. You may wish to post a response. It loosely translated to

it is dishonest is not serious to say the bag did not like I understand

Do not respond immediately. Think it through.

I believe your refund should be automatic since the auction is poofed. The seller is not in very good standing now.

It sounds as though the seller is suggesting that the buyer is dishonest to allege fake when she didn't like the bag.

Suggested response:

English: Seller is the dishonest one to sell counterfeit LV bag. Bag was deemed fake.

French: Vendeur est le malhonnête de vendre des contrefaçons sac LV. Sac a été jugé faux.
