Weird feeling about Damier Azur

personally, i'd rather go with the regular damier. i don't like the azur line... it's too limiting to certain seasons, like spring or summer.

Damier Azur is not something I have to have at this time. I would get a wallet or pochette.

Me too, I was so excited for it & now, just kind of eh. I still may get the Plage for summer & vacations, but I am not sure if it is versatile enough to warrant $1800.

I'm not a fan of the regular damier, but when I saw pics of the Azur version, I thought it would make a great spring/summer bag.

Well, I saw a few pieces several days ago, and it just didn't wow me. The color was kinda gray-ish blah, and the pattern (blue/gray part of checkerboard) had a cheap-ish look to it, IMO. I guess I'm sticking to the mono and Epi. Maybe the Azur will grow on me....

I keep having mixed emotions about this line. When I first saw it 3 weeks ago IRL, I totally didn't like it. Then yesterday my SA was showing me how it changes color in different light...and now I have to have at least one piece from this collection.

Same happened to me, I am still having the mixed feeling between the regular damier and damier azur.
