:tup:I love Weekenders.....more beautiful Bal leather!!!
But I have to admit, I had two and sold them to get Works, just worked out better for me. But I sometimes wonder if I just didn't give them enough of a chance to get really smooshy and then they would have seemed a bit more manageable.
They are beautiful and a broken in Weekender is just sooooo cool!

i like the Work and i think i'll like WE altho i imagine it'll be too heavy for a petite like me. big bags are indeed cool and chic. maybe again one ought to consider the wardrobe? i only use my Work with certain clothes.

citylolight has a modelling pic of her bleu glacier WE:

I think the work style is a better style for everyday use for work or school.
But I do LOVE the weekender because I love big bags.

It all depend on how tall you are. If you are small and skinny then you can make it very chic with a weekender as everyday bag.
But I am 5'3" and weights more than i should, the big bag just look a little too much on it.. JMO

I think a Weekender would be a great everyday bag! Especially for those days, you go crazy shopping and you can just keep throwing your new goodies in the bag, and then you get home, it's like you're very own leather treasure chest.

I love the weekender! It's my most used bag! I use it as an everyday and for travel and it has broken is so well and is my favourite out of the lot i have...its big when unbroken but once you get it flopping it's not that huge anymore and its soo comfy to lug around on the shoulder. I'm 1.62m (sorry i'm metric) and i don't think it dwarfs me.

PS: a metallic pewter weekender would be uber cool..i had my eye on one a few months back but didnt have the dough then..=( good luck and let us know what you decide!

Here's my weekender. Its an 05 - well broken in. It took months of contemplating on getting one and after trying on current SSN ones, which looked stupid big on me, I noticed that the older ones somehow just worked more for carrying during the day:

Mine is very soft though which is a big reason for it working well and not looking like a flat screen TV on my arm or on the shoulder!

Very drapey:
