Thank you ICB! lol. If I were still working in politics... I wouldn't second guess getting a work or a weekender, but now that I'm a "Desperate Housewife" and work from home... its a bit different. Everything has to be practical! lol.

Off to read your thread! :)

So the work is a bit taller than my PT. I love my PTs because they have a shoulder strap.... and thats a good thing when I have two kids under 2. haha. Off to read more... anyone else have any comments? I'm open to suggestions!

As we speak, I am packing my weekender to bring with me on the plane. It is such a great travel bag and it looks good stuffed to the brim or not. I am 5'5" and don't think it is too big at all...well, maybe too big for an everyday bag!!;)

i think both are a good choice for traveling. i carry my work for weekend getaway. however, if you are going to use it for an everyday bag, the work might be better as the weekender is a bit bigger. i'm only 5' 3" so the weekender looks huge on me!!

So if I'm hearing you guys correctly... my PT is "like" the work, but shorter....and the work is taller. Plus my PT has a messenger strap. I'm just trying to figure out if I can just use the PT as a travel bag.... and then carry a Day bag as my purse. lol. I know, I know... I make this waaay more complex than it has to be. hahaha.

Bal NY has a good selection right now. You should be able to find a weekender quite easily, it just depends what color.

Bal NY had a cornflower one a week or so ago I was pondering until I spent every last cent on jaune and violet.

Yeah, the Weekender is a huge bag. Perfect for a weekend away. I am fairly tall at 175cms and I couldn't get away with it. The biggest I can go is the Work. It is tempting though...I know of an Apple Green Weekender for sale at the moment. A dream colour for me...But it's just too big!!!
