I just got my first weekender recently and the first week i felt it was too large for everyday use and so just used it for travel. But after going with me on two trips interstate, it has softened up so much that the slouchiness is jsut superb and i'm using it everyday for work now! I just don't carry it in the crook of my arms as it really looks oversized worn this way. I carry it on my shoulder and it looks great!

Depending on your use, the WE can be used as a daily bag. When I'm in school, it houses my daily staples like a notebook, wallet, water bottle, pencil case, cell phone, agenda and keys. Of course, this is under-utilizing it, but I do like the slouchy big bag look.

I do suggest that you try the WE on for size before making your decision, because how it wears from person to person varies greatly.

Mooks i use my weekender on a daily basis , even if i only carry my sunnies, mobile and a wallet:heart: ... i love:heart: the look it too much to leave it at home ! and i love the way the bag POPS ...if you like that look, go for it ! :tup:

If I do get one but later decide to eBay it (as I am rather fickle) do they sell ok? I looked at completed listings but there was only a couple and one wasn't a leather one

The Weekender is a BIG bag and it is fabulous!!:tup:
It all depends on you if you are comfortable with it or not as an everyday bag, I think. I have 3 and I love them when I am in the mood for a big bag!!
And they do slouch nicely when they are broken in and won't seem quite as big as when new.
As for eBay, I don't see very many come up for sale but I don't think you would have a problem re-selling.

Thanks again! I wouldn't obviously buy it as a money making exercise but just want to know if it's a good piece to buy.

Okay, I've found myself with a lovely "little" collection of Balenciagas... they consist of Days, Part Times and one City. I'm heading to NYC in October to visit some of my alumni friends and also attend a family wedding.

I just had my 2nd child this last January and have been feeling a tiny bit "dumpy" (well, not dumpy dumpy, but just needing a bit of bling)... so I'm thinking... "how hot would I look with a weekender or work bag when travelling?" hahaha.

Can anyone give me more details? Anyone have pics of the part time next to the Work? How about the work versus the Weekender? :)
