Weekender as everyday bags and Modeling pics (plus Shorties with Biggies!)

I have quite a few Weekenders (around 6 or 7); they were my favorite style until the Part-Time bag came along. I use them for both travel and everyday use. However, when I travel for business, I usually pack a City or Part-Time bag in my luggage to use for "everyday". I am quite tall (5'10"), but I don't think that it's necessary to be tall to *work* the Weekender style ... I think it's more about attitude! Once they are all broken in, they look just wonderful!

I'd say, GO FOR IT!!! i just bought a vert foncé weekender for x'mas and planned to use it as my everyday bag. i tried a greige weekender on at first and found it too big for me, it didn't seem right. Then i found this beauty, felt in love with the leather and oddly, it didn't seem that big on me. I am 1,70 m (5'7). Darker colors make the bag seem smaller. I am very happy with it and can't wait using it when going to work.

I love the WE and I own 2 of them, but I only use them for travel. I use the Work as my everyday bag, and the WE is just too big on me, I can almost fold myself in half and fit into my WE:p

That being said, I'm only 5'3", so if you're 5'9", I think you can totally rock it...I think it'd be like how the Work looks on me.

GL!

It's fine, as long as you don't overstuff it...It does look really huge when overstuffed! Also, make sure you are the one who puts it in the overhead locker. Flight attendants, in all their brilliance, stuff them in and close the door on the tassels. I remember one PF'er saying her tassels were ripped off by the locker door closing!
