Ah, drat - good catch, Ame. I do think most of the designers sell on other venues if a style should catch JJ's eye ... but good to know for the future.

I guess I just like all the ones I've already picked better, they are more "me". My main decision is whether or not I should go with a band (where it be the cool, cheaper DY one or the Tiffany metro) or if I should get a pretty colored engagement ring.

This is similar to the DY, but in white gold, so no tarnishing.

Thanks, that is beautiful but 6k is way more than I want to spend on this. I think I'd like to stay at or under about 2k.

I agree that as pretty as the DY band is that the silver will tarnish and that could be problematic long term.

I love these styles - they look so good on their own without looking like everyone else :smile1:

I can also vouch for Whiteflash. I bought my wedding band from them and they were so excellent to deal with! Quality has been top notch. Personally, I would do the band if the other choice is a colored stone as an engagement ring for a couple reasons. 1. The band will match with more things if you use diamonds. 2. You want a stone that will withstand everyday wear and has a high level of hardness. I would not use anything other than a sapphire or diamond for that very reason.

Thanks everyone. I guess it boils down to what I want and I should not have waited this long, as usual.

My dream ring would be the Tiffany Sparkler in cushion cut praseolite but apparently they don't make it in anything but yellow gold from what I understand, so alas I must find something that will do.

Thanks! Etsy had some great ones but a lot of the sellers say 2-3 weeks shipping. I wish I had started looking sooner than this weekend.
