Ok. I wish I could send mine to you and you could blend the color of my Jade Jennys for me lol :p I am too scared lol

I think its ok either way. Its not like you went against the bottle's instructions and applied 4 coats or something lol I will spray mine again tomorrow to be sure they are properly protected!

Actually, it's too late to blend the color after you spray them. You have to do this before you spray. I don't think it hurts to spray two coats as long as you don't spray too close and too much -- then you might get some glossiness to the shoes.

Nat; Sorry to bug you again; I took my LD's in for red soles today to Pasquales and they said that the Saba's they don't stain resist/spray is that right?

I did mine. I have several pair of Sabas and I just treated them like any other exotic. But, you should do what you're comfortable with.

Thanks ... I am comfy with your recommendations actually. I am going to call back Pasquales and ask why they don't do it. I also have a call in to my boutique to ask them about it as well.

I am picking up a few cans of the stuff anyway to do my Bianca when the time comes.

Okay so they said the following: That it takes away the shine and that the instance of scales coming out is higher when the shoe is sprayed.

I call BS considering you guys have all done them and SCrazy even says it brought OUT the shine on her Daf's.

One of the issues I had with my original pair was that they were antique looking and not shiny at all. Three coats and they looked amazing. I have no regrets :D

I spoke with Nat and what she meant by "spray one time" was to apply once coat and then another the next day. I am sure it is fine both ways but I just wanted to clarify!

I asked Pasquales what they do if the shoe get's spilled on ... she said refinish it ... I am not going to take that chance. If they won't spray it I will ...

Still waiting for a call back from my SA ... it must be SUPER crazy there ;) LOL

Think so. I called 5 times already - voice mail every time! (Well, the first two times it was just busy)

Is 12 hours long enough for my pairs to dry? I couldn't bear them being in my basement any longer so I put them in my shoe cabinet (not in their boxes until the morning). How long did you guyz wait before putting them back in their boxes or shoe cabinet?

I sprayed mine based on the directions on the can. So I only waited 30 mins between each spray, then waited another 30 mins to an hour and put them back in their boxes.

ok so do you condition the ws and other exotics? Im asking because my Mamaw had custom made python and if she didnt condition them, the scales would stick up and they were rather sharp and scratchy. The shoes also did not look good when the scales were sticking up. Im just curious.
