That we find out about people like this is really a testament to the breadth of knowledge and experience that our members have. I've had my eye on her for a while after a member whose SO is an investment banker told me that she had her SO look at some of her posts about her job (Bee also claims to be an i-banker) and that he said they looked like they were written by a freshman finance student trying to show off - she used a lot of jargon that the vast majority of people on here wouldn't understand, but how she was using it made no sense. the words didn't mean the things that she was using them for, but someone who wasn't in the industry wouldn't know the difference. I trust this member a great deal, so ever since then, I've been waiting for her to slip so we could prove she was a fraud. it took her a while to slip in a provable way (although i think most people agree that most of the things she wrote about were so fantastic as to be hardly believable). This morning, member Lilach did the work for me - the link to her post and a link to the picture were in the email boxes of all the mods. I don't know how she found it, but I'm glad she did!

There are several people on here who's stories don't add up - and I'm happy to know that mods (and other members) are on the watch!
we try, but we also rely heavily on members w/ hardcore memories! Some people remember EVERYTHING I swear! If your story doesn't add up they'll find you! LOL!If someone here truly believes I pick on them or follow them around, they're paranoid. I can't remember by the end of the day which member I had an issue with, swear!:laugh
She even told me she had the baby and was in hospital recovering!!!if my memory serves correct she dissed the males she worked with in the trading business and just the other day said what a great bunch they were. she is one i have questioned for a long time and i have noted others were also feeling the same.
i am glad she or he has been exposed. i really don't think her charade was anything but kicks for him or her.
people hate being misled, so members are usually great about gathering evidence when it comes to people like this. i will say that i was the one that busted livinluxuriously_lila, however. i was very proud of myself
. still am! (she was the one with the 'mercedes' from 'daddy'...and then the 'range rover' from 'daddy'). usually, if a member's life seems too good to be true...and they like to talk about it A LOT...it IS too good to be true. all the ones we've caught have followed a remarkably similar pattern.
I don't know Bee except what I have seen written in this thread. So Bee was/is about to give birth or pregnant, jeweler, investment banker (btw, there are only a handful of i-bankers who are women the rest might be stock brokers not i-bankers) with houses in UK, France and was buying in Manhattan? What am I missing?
She had some drama complaining about a Hermes bag in the H forum. And she put a link to it in her sig. Megs deleted the links, but she kept the comments.
she also had ridiculously rich friends and was very stressed about what ridiculously extravagant present to buy for their ridiculously spoiled children. she worried that her Central Park West address was not tony enough and that she'd never find a decorator in Manhattan to suit her liking. she was engaged and then married and then pregnant and then a mom without any sort of comment on the actual wedding or birth, even though she posted 'pictures' of lots of other things. a while back, she was also very worried that she, as an i-banker, may have made a mistake in a matter of moments that cost her company millions upon millions, but she apparently didn't lose her 'job' as a result; in fact, she apparently got promoted, or may have quit to have a baby and move to america, depending on which post you're reading.
