i am a fan of VW accessories and do like her bags, but prefer if the logo is less in-your-face, so i tend to go for the leather bags with the logo embossed or has a small metalware orb logo. I think their popular 'yasmin' shape is unique, dont really see that shape elsewhere.

Hello all. Hope everyone is safe and well!

I've been having a clear-out of clothes and other bits and bobs I don't use, while in isolation! I came across this Vivienne Westwood bag, which I forgot I had. It's from many years ago, I want to say possibly ten years ago.

I wonder if anyone is familiar with the brand and can tell me anything about this bag. I know I purchased it from the Vivienne Westwood UK website, so there is no doubt as to its authenticity, however I remember at the time I was confused because when I received the bag, I didn't see any brand stamp or "made in" stamp inside the bag, which I'd never seen before on a branded bag. I remember contacting the customer services department and they told me that this particular line didn't have an interior Vivienne Westwood marking.

Does anyone know the name of this bag, or anything about it/the collection that it came from? I have always wondered why there is no interior marking, and I wonder if I chose to sell it how it would be authenticated. As I said, it was purchased directly from the viviennewestwood.com online store.

Hey! I had quite a few Vivienne Westwood bags back in the day, about 7 or 8 (bought between 2006 and 2010 probably). I don't know anything about this particular bag but I remember like yours some of mine didn't have any kind of branding inside which was strange, I think these were the earlier ones I bought and then the newer ones tended to have metal branded plaques inside. I always bought from the VW store or a reputable boutique. There always seemed to be a lot of inconsistencies with their bags I remember and a lot of variation.

Anyway I sold all of mine a couple of years ago and had no problems. Sold for various prices as they were in various condition, a lot of them well used. Sold them all on eBay but I sell a lot of designer items on there and have good feedback so I don't think people questioned the authenticity. Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

Just noticed that there is not a official post or thread to discuss Westwood’s bag/purse. Therefore I would like to start one to share your vivienne westwood collection.

The one I share is from the last season, it’s a heart shape bag. It’s cute and I like the color way very much. It looks a little bit small though, but it can carry all my basic stuff.

Absolutely love this I love her vegan range just brought myself I little Christmas pressie to myself! I'll upload a pic shortly.
