Thank you and you are welcome. I have had a bit of luck. Combining with spending a crazy amount of time looking at online listings. Happy hunting and if you find something, post it on Vintage Thread! I see a lot of listings for CC online, I spend most my time on eBay. I have no doubt you will find one you like.

I dont use my CC as its a precreed and Im a bit afraid of it getting hurt...I love looking at it though.

Your brilliant comp shots and explanations are persuading me to start hunting for a CC/Pocket... I need to stay strong, haha!

I will play the Devil’s advocate, lol. If you can find either for cheap as a test bag, then you can decide if you want to spend $ for a harder to find color, etc. However, across the Pond (iirc) options for something cheap are limited, right? :sad:
Yup, this place is just a rabbit hole! Stay strong if that is your intent!

Collegiate vs. Watson.
The collegiate is slightly bigger and has more organization. Both have a back pocket. Both back pockets fit my phone lengthwise (Samsung Galaxy S8). The Watson has an inside zip pocket. The collegiate has an inside slip pocket and another pocket on the front under the flap. I find open pockets more useful on such a small bag. I carry basically the same things in both bags but it is really tight in the Watson. I could probably fit something else small in the collegiate, like another mask.

Hi! New here, recently found tPF while researching vintage Willis. Found one, love it, but cannot for the life of me determine it’s black or navy.

Does anyone have a Basic they can compare with a Companion #9300? I just bought a Companion, but really like the Basic. Not 100% sold on the split front pocket, but it was $20 and gateway to see how I like this style. Would love to see with something inside for reference and a mod shot if willing.

And any recs for a others that have a top zip and that boxy, east-west shape? This group has the best info! I literally just read all 36 pages here, so good!
