Hi All - I saw someone comment on a PoshMark posting that because a bag was made in 2004 it’s not really vintage. (Pic for attention - not my pic)

Then what IS actually considered vintage?

I always thought that bags 10 years and older were considered vintage.

So is 2004 vintage?

It has to be at least 20 yrs to be called vintage.

Here in the UK, “vintage” is recognised as anything over 20 years old. So no, this 2004 bag would not be classed as vintage.

It's true for bags in the US but for other items collectors sometimes have different standards. A doll collector told me that for them it has to be 50 years.

I eventually figured it out and realized I was in the wrong area of this site. I tried to delete the post but only the photos were deleted.

I did post correctly and got feedback.

Great! In general we can’t delete posts. There is a window of opportunity to delete the contents of a post and leave an emoji or punctuation mark etc.
