Awesome! Thanks!Hello all! Please let me know if I am doing this correctly. Added 9061 Rambler and 9144 Studio flap.
I love them too!! But you’d need to be invited by email in order to be able to edit. I wish there were a tPF tool that would be able to pool our data together. Sending you a PM because we may get off topic... hahaGoogle Sheets would be a good option for organizing data on the straps. You could have separate tabs for each type (buckle, dog leash, lobster claw) and columns for style name, #, width, total length, and min/max hole lengths. And if need be, you can set permissions so that anyone can see it but only certain people can edit it if need be. I'm not at home today but I'd be happy to help out with it another day, I love spreadsheets![]()
I'd be fine letting you have the editing power and just telling you if I have any changes.I love them too!! But you’d need to be invited by email in order to be able to edit. Maybe it’ll be a page in my collection of free source catalogsI'd be fine letting you have the editing power and just telling you if I have any changes.
This is probably a moot point already because of not including lengths but 2 are from ‘96 B plant and 1 is from ‘97 D. I’m just surprised (but also at the same time I’m not surprised) about the differences in lengths.Weird. Can you send me the country and code like I’ve included for mine?
also, may not be an exact science considering ppl could’ve switched out straps, like I’m planning to do. Also good to know that 9950 is 1”! 9951 is 1.375. They look so similar to me, I just thought they’d both have the same width strap.
Another thought would be to put it in the reference library. https://forum.purseblog.com/forums/coach-reference-library.114/ or at least a link to it so people would be able to find it years from now.Maybe it’ll be a page in my collection of free source catalogs
Brainstorming now. It would be good if it were able to be set up with administrators like a legit database. Where ppl can add or edit their own responses but not delete or make structural changes. Then it could run itself as a pool from a lot of contributors with minor maintenance/cleanup. I’ll get back to you all on it.
Feel free to continue tagging the last list on responses and we’ll get it compiled somehow

Anyway, another to add to 1”- the OG Rambler 9735.
Definitely. I think this could get pretty big though. A lot of them have adjustable buckles as well, so we’d need to standardize measurements taken at, for example, the longest length possible.
I’m also curious to see how much variation we have in lengths between different plants and years. If it’s an inch or so, that could be due to stretching. But much more than that could add a whole new layer of data collection. If we only had an easier way to compile it so it’s not just in text...
@Hyacinth do you know of an easier way to compile strap variations in tPF? If we’re looking to assemble some sort of fluid database, how is the best way to do it in this platform? Feel free to invite anyone else who may know a good way as well!

Agreed! @Mambutt and I have been discussing in PMWhat would be easiest then is you could create a google form that feeds to your google doc - please can type in and then it would track who added - you maintain the edit power but users can input using the form. I can help if you need itI live on a computer which is why online binge shopping is too easy - the struggle is real
