Very true, I actually think mercari, does nothing about that.This drives me nuts. I flag the ones I can pick out, and there will be days that it still shows listed! So I flag again. I'm talking hideous, gaudy, blatantly fake fakes and somehow some of them get sold before Mercari takes it down.

Hello everyone. Does anyone have a catalog page for the Taft bag? I just bought one and it. is. gorgeous. The leather is soft, it's in almost perfect condition (some wear and a small tear near the strap I'm having repaired). The number in the serial is a 2, so I am guessing 2002? Or is the Taft bag older?

I received my purple Station bag today and I am very disappointed. I paid $120.50 for this bag and it is extremely faded and stained. Do you guys think I have a case for a SNAD if the seller refuses to accept a return for this bag? Here is the auction link and I added better photos that I took. There is one photo that I now understand shows the fading but at the time I thought it looked like light from a lamp or something. This bag is in horrible condition.

Their pics are blurry, which could be an attempt at deliberately misleading buyers, but their description says the bag has marks, isn’t perfect and not to buy if that is what you want. Did you ask any questions about big old watermarks or the like? Depending in how they answered you might have a case, but otherwise I can’t say it’s a slam dunk in your favor because of what they wrote.

All you can do is file a claim and see . Worst ebay can say is no.
I’m sorry to hear it was a dud. If I had purchase I felt like a case for SNAD, I’d go to the shopping forum and ask on the eBay thread for suggestions/ feedback. Whateve and BB are active there and have a ton of experience.
I had seen the auction. I’ve taken a chance with bags with poor photos before, but once it went over what I wanted to spend, I took a pass.
Oh no! You open a case. That looks way worst then the photos. I'm always leery of blurry photos. I've been burned way to much with undisclosed damage. Ebay will be in your favor.
