There are services that'll ship items across the border to you. I just had a woman in QC buy a pair of shoes from me that will be routed through such a provider in Kentucky. Oddly enough, I'm in Canada, too, but ship through the US b/c over 99% of my buyers are in the US. I'd be curious to know what she pays for shipping in the end...

Alternatively, if you live near the border and make trips across the line, there's likely a receiving place in the border town. I note even North Dakota has them for shoppers from Winnipeg.

Thanks for the tip, spirangle! Unfortunately (or fortunately?) I don’t live near a border town. I didn’t know about the forwarding service before though so I’d be curious to see what they charge. Do you have one you would recommend?

I'm so proud of myself! I let a bag go on eBay that I had been planning to buy. If anyone saw it, it was the really pretty pre-creed crescent bag with the metal tag. The last photo of the auction had a gold necklace and lemons on the bag which made it look so much more beautiful to me, for whatever odd reason. I loved the color and the patina. I've watched that bag get re-listed several times with no bids but this time buyers took notice and it sold for $80. I knew it was a style that was unlikely to carry but I wanted it for the color and the metal tag. I have to say that since I finally bought my orange Courier I feel like I can stop looking. I'm done. I can clear my watch list and just feel content with what I have. That's pretty awesome.

This is how I feel after nabbing a red Court. That was a huge check off my list and now I am content to just scroll without the frustration of what I want not being there.

I wonder when this is going to happen to me...

You might just be in remission, though. I felt like that for a few months some time ago and then the obsession returned.
