Don’t hate me, but I could almost ask for a Creed pic to authenticate. The tooled daisy reminds me of the leather fob daisy. I really like this! Of course my fantasy bag is the Bleeker vachetta tooled bucket lol.

I am with you. I like it. I would even buy it as is (Coach or not, it’s cool), except I have no idea what dunking does to tooled leather, and what’s up with that stain.

15708893805831059845111092905349.jpg What a week. First a HG bag, the Shoulder Pouch small, and now a Periwinkle Maggie bag. I have had my eye out for a cheaper Periwinkle bag that wasn’t too faded or worn, well, lol, just because. There is only minimal wear and a spot of color loss you can see on the strap. And it’s brass! I want to see if a dunk can preserve it. But I won’t get to it today. Although after seeing how pigmented the Periwinkle Sonoma’s look . . ,

Got it . I sent an email to restorer Deb to see the cost of sending it her way. Given its age and how nice the leather still is, I want it done right. If she can’t do it or do it at a price I like, I will attempt
I take my bags to a local tailor. He is awesome and had repaired two linings and I was amazed when he was done because there were no signs of repair. One was a Bonnie cashin skinny tote bag where the lining came out next to the zipper and he fixed it easily.

I don’t have any tailors around unfortunately. The tack shop I used during my riding days before my doctor asked me if I really wanted a knee replacement before I was 40 became a mobile service and then vanished.

Does Debi do that? I imagine any leather repair can do it.

not sure if she does, do I emailed her. I bought a bag from her recently so it’s not as out of the blue a request as it may seem :)

Me neither! I just received a tooled clutch bag from a seller as a gift with purchase because I was really admiring the work done on it! It's beautiful and I'm sure it's never been conditioned. I am afraid if I dunk it I'll lose the tooling. I can just just clean and condition I suppose. Wdyt? Dunk or no dunk? IMG_20191012_152328.jpg
