Looks great! I see a lot of Willises on eBay with missing straps...now I know there's a fix for that.

Thanks! Yes there is! Mine actually has the strap but a piece of the hardware is broken so I may still try to repair it at some point but for now I love novelty straps.

strapworks.com will make you a strap. I like them because they have those brass fittings (trigger snaps and bolt snaps) that work well with vintage Coach.

I think early 70s to early 80's than they came back briefly in the 90s. Is it an NYC?

Coach court bag question. Mine is made in 1996. The strap is not adjustable. When did they start coming out with adjustable strap?

The first catalog showing a photo of the adjustment buckle is late 1998 but it may have been introduced earlier in that year or even in 1997 since there are a few Courts with 1997 serial numbers and buckle adjustments in my files..

For the record, and lending support to the 1997 introduction of the adjustable strap on some styles, I'm working on a Pocket Purse from 1997 and it has an adjustable strap.
