Would love to know how many of each are available.
I need a tutorial for that up-side down bag. Is it me or does that triple decker look user unfriendly ??
Everyone should list their failed rehab Willises. Coach may snap them up!!!
Lol Willis's will skyrocket in price! I dont get the triple dinky, or that Frankenstein duffle thing. I'm actually going to this tomorrow and I really want to see these things in person.

I don't even understand! Like ok for a rare vintage they pulled out of the archive, but woah.

LOL.

Woah is right.

Here's the link in case anyone (like me) has trouble finding it from the main Coach page.

At this very moment I'm "restoring" a red NYC Dinky and might frivolously ask <cough> $300 for it. Yes, an actual Dinky, not a Pocket Purse.

Please ask $300 and would it kill them to call it a Pocket Purse? Is everything smaller than a City Bag now a Dinky??:whut:

Thanks for posting the link! While it is nice to see them returning to some of the classics....Jeez the prices are high...
I too wish that they would make them again in the US
I just keep looking at the vintage ones and marveling at the prices

I was wondering if these would pop up there. Love the random and fun customizations you can do. And I was able to get to NYC I'd go look -but hey...my birthday is super soon
Also that hunter green dinky has me seeing hearts, stars and Johnny Depp (my forever Hollywood crush) I've been on a green handbag kick as of late. I have a cream Regina on her way to me that I plan to dye a rich deep kelly/bottle green.
Anyone going to the coach originals pop up in nyc? Also anyone see the vintage bags up on the coach site, I just looked at them, I'm gunna keep my comments to myself, lol:coolio:

Thanks for posting the link! And lol those prices!

Although, for the trail bag I’ve been seeing some crazy prices on eBay and Etsy (before even adding shipping and duty to Canada) - so I’m actually a little tempted!!!

I really like the new couriers they have my gripe was I didn't want just one big pocket, and they put a pocket in the back and made it crossbody, and now I'm tempted, but I can buy like 4 vintage couriers for the price of the new ones.

So just doing a little catch up here!
Now I really want to find a normal sized purse in the same color.

You and me both!

Most ( or maybe half? Lol) my vintage collection so far. DH built this for me and I couldn't be any happier to see them all together in one place!
Please don't quote or pin this image. Thanks in advance. Thanks for letting me share!

Lovely to see! Lol are you helping Coach with the vintage rental service mentioned on the Instagram for the pop up store?? lol,lol

While I don't have shelves and shelves of bags like @houseof999, I have been a little "flap happy" lately. Not quite vintage, but I seem to keep finding Bleeker Flaps at prices I cannot walk away from. I now am the proud mom of triplets: green, burgundy and black. Funny, I thought I'd like burgundy best but honestly I'm leaning towards black! What do y'all think?View attachment 4532591
Gorgeous!

IDK where my response went.. anywho I bought them for the braided details but adding more hardware to an already heavy bag doesn't sound like a good idea.
I was expecting my Legacy Flap Shoulder Bag to be heavy, which didn’t occur to me until after I impulsively bid and won. But I lucked out, as there is less strap detailing, etc it is surprisingly light. I have not ruled out another. I walked away from a huge Bleeker duffle at a flea market because it was heavy.

I've been wondering about the differences between the Baxter and the Beaumont, and someone else just got a really beautiful british tan satchel, I forget the name. I saw it on the rehab forum I think. Do you have any pics that compare them?
The Beaumont does have stitching details on the front and back of the bag. In a pinch , I go to the AT thread and do a search of the bag. Hy often attaches catalog photos.

I did NOT look for expensive ones in EUC. I looked for good to great condition ones but also sometimes I have taken chance on ones with slight tears on pipings. I wasn't too picky because these bags usually rehab very nicely! Most of us rehabbers try to find them cheap. I still do keep an eye out for bags in better condition that I already own.
Try to find them cheap is right!

Do you mean like this or even closer? :graucho:
(I have a very silly toddler making faces at me :giggle: )

Again, lovely. Thanks for posting! Been following your posts for a few years now and it is cool to see your collection. I am working on a book shelf display (ready made) myself.

Oh but look at the colours!!! :)

I don’t know too much about the courier but I still like the look of the real vintage bags better. Even though the new originals are supposed to be also glove tanned leather, they look super stiff and I’m not a huge fan of the colours they’ve chosen for the contrast stitching.

Also, what’s up with that triple decker thing???!!! No offence to those who like it... but why did they do that to perfectly colourful dinky/pocket purses???

In the case of the trail bag, it would be cheaper for me to buy the new “original” version from coach, rather than a vintage one on line (at least one that can be shipped to Canada)! It would be the most I’d ever spent on a bag, which I worry might be a slippery slope.. :) And more importantly, it took months for me to convince myself I don’t need that bag! Like, I mean, the zipper could break right..?? Lol...

I need some advice... I am looking to join the Regina club here :) and am debating between two bags I found. Both were made in the 90s and have already been authenticated here. One is black and the other is beige/white.

I would love to get both but I’m trying to not to that..

Black/dark brown is typically my default because they would match everything and easier to touch up in terms of colour (though I haven’t actually tried yet..). However, the seller might be questionable- even though the bag itself has been authenticated, I was also warned that the seller has very recently listed some fakes. So I don’t know how I feel about buying from her....

The beige bag is so cute! And the condition is supposedly lightly used (the pictures seem to corroborate but you never know). However, I bought a light colour Devon bag earlier this year and it was a lot of work to clean up! Even though I now love that bag and use it occasionally (nervously, I should add -I wouldn’t want to risk staining it even if it isn’t totally perfect)

I should add that I do have a black Winnie (and still regret not getting the beige one immediately when the seller offered it to me after I had bought the black). I think those two bags are quite similar in size?

Or I could skip the Reginas and just get the new trail bag??? :) what do you all think? I think I need to hear more points of view before I can make a decision!!! Thanks a lot for reading!

I would be so great if they would sell vintage straps that were taken from bags that were un-saveable. Or new straps that are made in the vintage style that you can buy. Some of the straps are too short for me, and I'd love to be able to buy a 48" strap (like the Willis one) in every color. And hang tags to replace the ones that were lost!!! But no way will I spend that much for a rehabbed bag! I know there are plenty of people out there who will, though. Its not even the cost of the materials to rehab, its the time it takes to find a bag that is in good enough condition and wait for the auction etc. etc. etc.

If it were my decision I would get the black Regina. You need to own at least one to know if it works for you. And you can always sell it if it doesn't work out.
