View attachment 4394085 Over the past year I too have been collecting top zip bags (with outside pocket/s) for quick access. I travel and have found the square bags pictured above to be my go to options because they have good depth which easily accommodates the usual items I carry with me. Each easily fit into my Musette or Carrier along with other stuff when I need a larger briefcase or carryon too. I have found center dividers don't fit everything for me and are heavier. I do have one Sonoma Sheridan Mayfield divided bag I use for running errands daily that I love but don't carry much in it.

My ziptop bags above showing size variation....I don't find any of them heavy when empty.
#9706 Skinny Flight Bag 12.5x9x3 - I love this bag (I also have nonstrap black version).
#9855 Classic Hobo 13x10x4.5 - Widest, fits lots but does it say 'old lady' bag? Carries 11x8.5 files though!
#9939 Carson Zip 11x6.75x3.5 - A bit smaller, has two outside pockets and still holds everything. My go to BT bag.
#9399 Companion Bag 11x7x3 - Smallest and lightest, and still works for me.

Smalls shown that I always carry and all fit into the top three bags above!
#4514 Organizer Catty - I actually have two, brown and black! Carries my mini ipad, notepad, business cards and pens. And slips into my bags when I don't need my larger ipad.
#7165 Chunky Case - keeps all my little stuff in one place.
#7170 Skinny Case - I just as my bills/coin purse
#7219 Multi-Function Wallet - Is my card case

The 'Dinky" size Basic Bag black ziptop at the left of the Skinny Flight Bag gets stuffed into all my bags to use as a quick grab and go when a big bag isn't needed or useful.

Hope this helps for some comparisons!

Nice collection, and very helpful notes.

I have a Companion Bag and, like you, "it still works for me."

New to me wallet(s) reveal:

I bought a Gramercy long style wallet. I paid $30. The scratches do not diminish, remove, or anything with Leather CPR or Blackrocks. So - I may just live with them. Overall, it's not that bad (unlike the Gramercy n/s satchel I'll post in rehab). I don't have a catalog photo for this product and even though it was listed by the seller as maroon, I'm wondering if Coach considers it mahogany. I was excited to show my DH but I don't think he likes it that much. He doesn't think this leather style is real leather. I'm not an authenticator but here is a link to a NWT one that I found: https://www.ebay.com/itm/NWT-Coach-...:LJcAAOSwT0pbo~ux:sc:USPSPriority!78230!US!-1

Gramercy front.jpg Gramercy inside.jpg Gramercy back.jpg

My last wallet (& probably my favorite right off the back of the two) is what I believe is the Coach Bridle Compact Clutch, No. 6497. And I believe the color may be currant (based on a forum search with added catalog picture). The front has some scratches on the left side (haven't tried conditioner or anything to see if they come off). The top right side is actually a small indentation (don't think it's a scratch). I will search & see if there are any suggestions. I recall something about steamer or hairdryer. The inside is absolutely pristine though. Unlike the Gramercy wallet, I can't even tell this one was used at all. The color has more red/purple undertones than the Gramercy I posted earlier in my opinion. I'm so excited about this purchase! And I can't recall the last time (if ever) I carried a smaller wallet like this. All previous ones I owned were the size of the Gramercy I showed so I was really surprised after unboxing how instantly I fell in love with the Bridle & how I am undecided on the Gramercy. I think it goes to show that I can't really tell from looking online & how I have to make my mind up after I receive the purchase (meaning in person purchases are better for me, but that's okay). I paid $45.

I was looking at some wallets from the Madison line, but if you look on the inside, some of them have less credit card slots, which drew me to to one. And I wanted to share links to pre-loved Madison, Bridle, & Gramercy wallets I had bookmarked while hunting (but I decided on these 2 purchases). I'm not an authenticator so keep in mind, but thought some of these were pretty good deals:

Nice!

The first Italian Gramercy bag that I rehabbed had scratches, but I found that using Leather Therapy Restorer and Conditioner really helped to improve the appearance. After a long time the scratches and dullness starts to come back but then I just give it another treatment with Leather Therapy.

If that doesn't work, here's a trick that I learned from a cobbler and it works great on patent leather bags that have lost their shine. Just treat them with Pledge polish and rub it in well. It's not sticky but the bag will smell like a lemon for a day but then the smell fades quickly.

I have a package of Pledge Lemon Clean wipes that I use and they work great on patent leather, so that might help with the special leather of the vintage Italian coach bags - it's worth a try, good luck!

I can understand your love for the bridle wallet. I had one in currant and it was gorgeous.
