I love orange bags too. I think they can patina in such a lovely way.
I have a few NYC ones. Is there a specific color name for those? I can’t recall seeing any catalog pics with it listed.
Also, a really beautiful orange Crescent recently sold on eBay.
The color names for NYC bags are different than those used in the 90s. I don't recall seeing oranges in NYC catalogs but I've heard the name vermillion used in connection with Bonnie Cashin.
I just checked my saves & saw the “Bonnie’s Colors, Spring 1964” swatches. Is “Geranium” an orange?

Ah, yes, Zinnia too! I have a swatch pic with that saved but didn’t have the year on it & missed seeing it.

Zinnia does look more like the bags I have. A burnt orange.

Thank you, I'm going to enjoy carrying this. I've been wanting a Becket Zip for a long time and this one is in such beautiful condition. I'll be interested to see what kind of patina it develops.

Not till recently I started to admire and buy Vintage Coach. There are so many beautiful bags out there, but when budget only allows a couple, I have been trying to find those styles that "to me" are unusual, so I went to Pinterest and did research on a few that caught my eye.
