Probably not. Maybe $150. I'd be more inclined if it was red.
Don't hate me...I have this bag in red.
I suck at multiquoting...forgot the link. It's for a Basic Bag.

It's common, but it isn't common to find one new with tags and box. I got a burgundy one that was new without tags for about $60. It still had the original tissue paper inside. No not for that particular bag. It's very common.
Interesting, I was contemplating this one . . .Very tempting.
Red shoulder pouch small (like a station bag without the handle, and a little smaller). These are rare.

No complete creed picture so it can't be authenticated but I don't see any issues.

Did you see this, Whateve? https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/560...earch_query=coach basic bag&ref=sr_gallery_30Probably not. Maybe $150. I'd be more inclined if it was red.
Still seems like too much for a basic bag that isn't in perfect condition. The basic bag is too small for me anyway. I would only get a new with tags one to admire on a shelf.
Agreed on both counts. If you can be patient and have time to look through listings, I have seen red Basic bags in equal condition or better on eBay for under $100.Still seems like too much for a basic bag that isn't in perfect condition. My first Coach bags were basic bags I bought new in the early 80s. I still have them, in navy and tabac. I think they cost $60-65 back then, which would be about $150 in today's money. These are too small for me for daily use. I didn't have a phone back then (6splus) or reading glasses.https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/557533876/vintage-coach-bag-coach-basic-bag?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=coach basic bag&ref=sr_gallery_2
Would you pay this kind of money for a mint condition with paperwork?
The first Coach bag I ever saw was in the early '80s. My older sister bought it with gift money and it was a clutch with a wrist strap. I was not impressed, lol. My, my, how my tastes have changed. Last year I bought a lot of a two basic bags, one red, one blue. The red came out nice, the blue is a little rougher, I have to figure out where it is! The Basic is too small for every day. The red one has an anchor strap. I love that touch. My first Coach bags were basic bags I bought new in the early 80s. I still have them, in navy and tabac. I understand completely!I bought this bag in BT in August and am in the midst of rehabbing. It needs an app of O's Oil currently. It was an impulse buy. But the more I handled it, I noticed the leather was quite buttery, like my Monterey Hobo. Once I dunked it and it took its shape, I fell completely in luuvvv. Will post before and afters when it is done!
