Not seriously. I love the style but really need a long crossbody strap.
I've been thinking all along this style was a crossbody! I always note your style preferences since I like crossbody, too.

Most of what I've found gives the strap drop at the center as only 18 inches and that just doesn't work unless you're part hobbit. If anyone here has one of the Erins or even the old Pony Express Bag maybe they can confirm the max drop at the longest setting. Remember too that the sides of the bag come up pretty high and that can make it uncomfortable to wear crossbody even if the measured length of the drop sounds workable.

That's me! [emoji137] I'm only 5'1". [emoji4]

So am I, but I'm probably much more zaftig (fluffy? well-cushioned?) than you! And I kwow that on me at least 18-inch drops just aren't going to cut it. You have to also look at the width across the top of the bag between the strap mounts, the wider that is, the lower on the body the bag will hang and the more comfortable it will be.

It's too bad there's no way to extend that strap.

Feels like 2% of my life is dedicated to the extension question, lol!
I sometimes consider swapping the strap with a longer one from another bag. But on this one you'd lose the beautiful suede look, plus you never know if it'll fit when mixing vintage/newer styles.

ETA: All strap swap data is welcome!! Someone (ledobe?) posted about the fit of vintage Courier/new saddle bag and I was very grateful.
