Hi Soozlz! The $AU plummetted and shipping prices increased so I had to stop buying. I still have a box of rehabs I need to get to. I've been distracted by work and another interest - vintage china - which is very popular here. I'm feeding my collection obsession with Noritake! Henri is well, thank you. How's your cutie?

Sorry you had to stop buying coach....but it sounds like you're set with you rehabs and Noritaki. It's been ages since I collected china/stoneware, but I remember Noritaki had beautiful pieces. I used to collect Wedgwood years ago. Bailey is fine thank you!! Glad to see you're still on the forum. I haven't seen Joodlz pop up. She used to have those great goodwill finds.

It's nice to see you again. You've been missed around here. I've nearly stopped buying too. My problem is having too many bags and some disappointing rehabs. Now I'm down to the nearly impossible cases so I'm not very motivated to work on them.

I have a small collection of teacups and teapots. I used to have some gorgeous Noritake china. I have lots of small collections of many different things. The purse collection is the only thing that really got out of control!

Joodlz is around. She keeps posting her finds in the AT thread.

Lol!! My YARN is out of control. I knit/crochet cat toys to sell for rescue. Every time I get an idea I have to get yarn. Ps. My cat opened the yarn cabinet = O. It looked like he had a great time. (I didn't)

I'm like that too. I have tons of yarn. I haven't made anything in awhile. We have all the afghans and scarves we need! I also have a huge supply of fabric that hasn't been touched in ages. I used to sew all the time.

Yup, I have scarves, etc as do family and friends. One year I knit pillows for Christmas. Did the fabric and sewing thing too. I just rehomed the majority of my fabric. One reason why I got away from sewing I because I can't take it with me anywhere. My daily bag is a Coach metro tote so I can keep a project with me.

:D I don't think they call anything late vintage. It's either vintage or not. Collectors know what they want.

People use this term very liberally, imo. I've seen Janice and Willis bags made in 2006 listed as vintage. Sellers obviously don't know the difference between "classic" (which I think would be the most accurate word for those models) and vintage.

I remember going to antique shows and hearing the term "late vintage". It may have been marketing or a way to give the average shopper some sort of time frame. With that said, I agree, collectors do know what they want.
