no, it looks like a saddle bag i think, not 100% sure. the original saddle, that the new 2016 saddlebags are modelled after. That's not a stewardess bag though, is it?

yes, this will be interesting indeed to watch!Yes! Well, this should be interesting to see how it all plays out. I can't imagine if they really had 2000 bags to play with they would Snoopify all of them?! I'm so hoping not. Thanks for posting this!
Someone I know who works at Coach told me 6 to 8 months ago that Coach had purchased aprox 2000 Coach bags from a collector in the Midwest. Stuart was going to "bling and embelish" these bags and sell them as obviously one of a kinds....I wonder if this is a portion of those bags? Coach wanted them out in time for their anniversary.
Now I know what it is going to happen to at least one of the bags I sold. That makes me sad. It was such a perfect patinaed burgundy.yes, we know who's been busily buying up vintage and stockpiling for Coach. and i don't mind that, if they were going to do something tasteful with them. but this is just so unbelievably tacky!!! i wonder why they didnt use tasteful graphics, like the ones they have been using for the very successful Snoopy ventures. that would make sense. but these ugly decals??? really??? in Paris no less?? i guess i just love vintage coach too much to appreciate this marketing ploy!
The bags are Patricia's Legacies, I think. Gawd how awful. A crime against vintage style. Now I know what it is going to happen to at least one of the bags I sold. That makes me sad. It was such a perfect patinaed burgundy.

That's the truth! I thought the bags on Etsy were in poor taste. I was wrong! At least they were done by hand and took some talent even if it was not to my taste. Here they took perfectly beautiful bags and placed ( poorly I might add ) some stickers on them. No talent needed whatsoever. A travesty! What was the use of rehabbing them to junk them up with tacky patches?
i sold at least half a dozen or more to the project; i knew they were being stockpiled, but had no IDEA they would be destroyed. i feel duped!!!![]()

I would feel betrayed too. All the dedication to detail and quality that went into these bags originally, and then the effort and skill to restore them to their former glory, thrown under the bus of "bling."
I imagine Lillian Cahn and Bonnie Cashin would be a tad dismayed.
Simmer down guys...no need for so much hatefulness... I think you are jumping the gun a little. This is a tiny little project using bags that had some pretty major issues. As always... Coach will not disappoint. Just because there are those that might not like these, there are plenty of people that will. Just be thankful that there is interest in Coach at all and be supportive of your fellow coach lovers!

I dont think it's hate, that's a pretty strong word. I feel the people who have said something, myself included, think they look tacky and well....just plain not well done and fairly ugly.
