Hey everyone..LONG TIME ...
I'm sending some pics of recently rehabbed & sold Lulas, Helens & duffle sacs~plus my favorite~drawstring backpack ..Those first 3 styles are my biggest sellers ~the drawback as a rehabber is scrubbing all that brass w/ steel wool..not to mention digging the pondscum out from underneath the brass grommets..but.that's my problem not yours!. Personally, they all are too heavy for me to carry~or I just drag around too much crapola! I love open bucket/ Duffle Feed sac bags, I'm carrying a Brighton because its lighter..Plus I love the Silver CowGirl western hardware.. ENJOY!!

This listing looks like an Essex briefcase, but it needs authenticating and a little rehabbing - no holes shown. Ends in about an hour.

Thanks for the tip. For $35 I took a chance. No time to request a creed pic and get it authenticated before the auction ended, so I'll have to wait until it gets here to do that. Then we'll see how I do with rehabbing it -- I love a challenge!

You're welcome! I found a black Essex briefcase at Goodwill in similar (bad but also no holes) condition, and it rehabbed pretty well, imvho. I hope it works out for you! :smile1:

I'm hoping to pick the brains of you very knowledgeable Coachies about the size of a few vintage bags.

In terms of size, how does the Madison satchel compare to a Baxter compare to a large Plaza bag? For reference, I have a Stewardess. If I'm recalling correct, whateve mentioned in another post that the large Plaza bag would be about the same size as a Stewardess. (Thanks again, whateve!) Is a Madison satchel or Baxter also about the same?

Or maybe there are other styles I've missed that would hold a bit more than a Stewardess? A bucket bag comes to mind, but isn't exactly what I'm looking for.

I'm planning on carrying this bag, so if anyone has opinions on the carry-ability of any of those styles, please chime in!

Thanks in advance!

Edit: I answered my own question about the size of the Plaza bag - too small for my needs, unfortunately! Opinions are still welcome on the size and comfort of carrying either a Madison satchel or Baxter. :smile1: Or any slightly larger styles that can be worn cross-body. Hope everyone is well!

Some of u might know I'm trying to collect Vtg Coach. Initially when I just started, I told myself 7/8 pieces is the max but I couldn't stop! Thanks to our helpful Authenticators on TPF, I managed to collect 13 so far. There r still more than 10 that I am lusting after n they r more expensive range.... I need some help to curb my addiction [emoji24]

I wanted to share pics of my Vtg Coach once I'm done with collecting BUT when will I feel contented??

I don't know if you'll ever feel like you are done. We are all in the same boat! Just when you think you don't need any more, someone posts a picture of a style you weren't thinking about and you add it to your wish list.

Maybe you should post your collection pictures now so we can drool.

You know you have really gone too far when you don't even admit how many Vtg Coach purses you have. Another sign is when you buy purses you know you don't usually carry - like handbags when you only use swing backs! Welcome, you are home here.
Please share your treasures with us!

Ok I decided to post pics of bags I've bought even though I have only receive 6 pieces so far. And I'm excluding my dark brown Willis because I'm planning to sell or give away. All pics shown r what seller posted on eBay when I bought them. They r much better than me in terms of photography skill! Last night I posted a Vtg coach drawstring on coach thread, the the pic was awfully dark! It doesn't do justice to the bag lol [emoji23]
