I'm not sure Coach reps would have access to really old styles like this so you might not get any results, but the style number is 4208. They will probably just send a brass hangtag anyway; I don't know why they need the number.Does anyone know the style number for the Dakota Cartwright bag? I called Coach today about a replacement hangtag for this particular bag of mine and they asked for the style number. Since Dakota bags have no serial number/style number, I have no idea what the style number is for the Cartwright bag. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I don't think they made full flaps in nubuc.Do you happen to know if there's a nubuc equivalent to the 4929 small full flap, and if there is, what the style number is? Thanks!
GMTA!I don't think their computer files go back that far, and they won't have a leather one to match the original. You'll probably just get a brass-colored one. The style number was 4208.
ETA - Is there an echo in here?![]()

Thanks! I didn't have that one. Was there a large full flap in nubuc too? 4958?It should be 4959.

Do you two ever sleep?!? [emoji39]
She was absolutely adamant about needing it. She also insisted on having the registration number, which of course I don't have. I just told politely told her I would look for that information and call back. Honestly, I just wanted to call right back and hope for a different representative; however, I figured I may as well go ahead and get as much information as possible before calling back. Usually when I call they ask for the style number, which I typically always know, but then when they find out it's an older bag they just disregard that information and ask for the color of the hardware. This representative did inform me though that Dakotas had "specialty" hangtags -- I think they are larger and one sided she said -- and she wanted to try and get me one of these, perhaps that's why she was so insistent on the style number? The "specialty" tag would of course be nice, but I had expected to simply be sent the brass one like always.

It should be 4959. There's at least one listed:

No pic of the Nubuc but here's the number - early Fall 1997
Yep! Here's one showing both sizes from Summer 1997
