Today's colorful haul:

Pre-'93 red compact pouch #9620, '95 green Watson, and '97 navy Madison Biltmore (bluer shade of navy than my '95 Madison Carlyle; I really like it). The Watson is in such great shape I just wiped it inside & outside with antibacterial wipes & moved right in.

Eta: The hangtag on the compact pouch is one sided but thick. Is this normal? This is my oldest bag with a hangtag.

Wow, that Biltmore is gorgeous! Older hangtags were one-sided. Sometimes you'll find sellers who claim the halves separated, which might happen with newer hangtags, but the old ones were really one-sided.

Thank you! I think the color on this Biltmore looks more like midnight than navy, if that makes any sense. I'm having to use the strap off of my (I think, based on the hangtag color swatches Hyacinth posted) maple Biltmore. The granite won't get here for another week (yay free shipping lol), but I believe it'll look nicer.
Good to know about the old hangtags. It definitely looks original to the bag, and will get a bath right along with it.

Ladies, could I get your opinions, please?
My navy Biltmore came without a shoulder strap. Do you think it looks ok with a shiny gold chain? The only unchangable hardware are the brushed brass turnlock and the feet. Be as brutally honest as you want; I'm on the fence. Thanks!
