That is a very special bag!
Yes, I feel like someone let me into the Coach Archives and pick a bag. Lol if the Pony’s and rust Shopping bags were already gone! To me it was crazy that only a few people were bidding on it and I won for just under $100! It was listed as an extra large Coach purse! Not long after that, the vintage Coach market exploded, imo. I don’t think it would fly under the radar now.

I totally agree with "crazy" on this price, but then it truthfully looks like the proverbial unicorn - and in decent condition. I have been trying to get a pre-creed bag and have not been able to find/afford one. However, if I were blessed with unlimited funds, I might spring for something like this also. After all, women pay this amount and way more for new bags, that probably will never last 50-60 years.

When you win the lottery, maybe you want to consider this one. (IMO, it's fugly!)

(I wasn't shopping for Chanel but saw this post and what followed and found the listing. I think the seller is a dreamer!)

Luckily I bought pre-creed bags before the prices went crazy and I found listings where the seller didn't know what they had. I sold a couple that I wish I had kept. Even though they were rare and desirable, they took a long time to sell and I kept lowering the price. I'm afraid that when I die, my kids will donate my valuable collection to Goodwill.

I bet this wouldn't have sold for as much if it hadn't been an auction.

Lol, I also think it is fugly :) and did you see the shipping ? I suspect she is going to hire a horse and carriage, to bring it to the buyer's house - white glove all the way :)

Before the horse and carriage brings it to the buyer's house, they'll need to bring it to the authenticator, wait for the authentication, and only after it passes authentication and condition (if it does), then it goes to the buyer. :P
