I’ve had 3 Willises in the past including grey with nickel.

It looks larger online than it actually is. I don’t think it’ll look disproportionate on you, it’s 10 inch by 10 inch.

The strap might be a bit too long depending on your anatomy. You can always swap it out for a guitar style novelty strap. Etsy & Amazon have a large selection or you can get one from Coach but they’re usually expensive.

The grey with nickel combo matches everything black does.

What are you planning to carry? Are you open to other bag suggestions?
Thanks for your reply! Good to know the grey essentially replaces the Black bag.

I don't carry much actually....1-2 phones, keys, wallet, a couple small foldable reusable bags, lipstick. Maybe a phone charger and sometimes glasses. I'm wondering if the Willis may be too large.

I currently have a Court, City, and a Stewardess. It's interesting because the Court is snug for my few belongings (I have to arrange them a certain way). The City is a good size for me, roomy enough but not too snug. The Stewardess is very large for me.... I've used it as an overnight bag.

If you happen to have other bags suggestions I'm all ears!

I don't think you can go much smaller than the Willis. The Murphy sounds too small for what you carry. Have you looked at this thread? https://forum.purseblog.com/threads...n-guide-low-chat-only-on-topic-posts.1033192/

Here is a Willis compared to a city. https://forum.purseblog.com/threads...-on-topic-posts.1033192/page-24#post-34172175

If you look through the thread you should probably find other comparisons that will help you decide.

Who is Sue?
She's an ETSY seller. She's been restoring coach bag for years. Here's her store.

To piggyback off of House, Sue also does private restorations. I sent a bag to her that I realized was beyond my rehab capabilities. From start to finish my experience with Sue was phenomenal. The bag looks new again. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to get a bag restored!

I also briefly owned a Stewardess. If memory serves, the Willis has a smaller capacity than the Stewardess. I actually think it sounds like a good size for the stuff you’ll be carrying

Eta: you can always keep an eye out for a cheap Willis. Buy it & try it. If you don’t like it, just resell it. It’s better to try a style for less that you might not be sure of before investing money into a harder to find colour.

You would probably like the Plaza large … in case you trip over a deal!

This is actually the third time it’s been re-listed. The first time it bid up to $610. Either something is wrong with it, buyers are canceling out of remorse or the seller isn’t getting the price they want for it
Edit - Sorry - I thought I was posting in the 'Authenticate This Coach' forum! Ignore, please.

I was just looking at this on Ebay, and came here to see if it had been authenticated...is it authentic? The re-listings give pause for thought...hmm.

Im not an authenticator, but since @whateve posted about it, it’s authentic.
