I'm grateful to the authenticators here. I had multiple vintage bags arrive this week for rehab projects/cleanup, and all are worthy of the work, and it's nice to know they passed inspection here and are the real thing! The smell of the Coach leather on opening the boxes was a good clue as well.

I am tempted, and this is a trusted seller that does beautiful rehab work, so I would likely use it as is, it has a hang tag ... **Looks at the Carrier I just bought** ... I better let someone else enjoy this.
So apparently @Morgan_Bellini hasn't scarfed up all the rust bags!

I also looked at this bag because the color appeals to me, but the tear and the nibble is beyond what I perceive as my capabilities.

I saw a listing for a rust vintage Shopping Bag once upon a time, so I know they are out there ... holding out for one of them.

Oh, that would be beautiful! They're out there, stay vigilant! I really wanted that rust marketing tote that was on Etsy but $500 was too steep for me. I do kinda regret not buying it.

After I read this, and realized that I, too, would use it as is, I bought it. The rust color is so rich and rare. While it's not a duffle, I really can't carry a duffle every day and this is a bag that screams 'autumn' to me. I'm very much looking forward to receiving it. I have never 'banned' myself from buying before but starting tomorrow I hope to limit looking here and on sale sites. July was a very expensive month for me and we have school taxes due in September. If I could only forget the purple vintage bag I saw online last night...

After I read this, and realized that I, too, would use it as is, I bought it. The rust color is so rich and rare. While it's not a duffle, I really can't carry a duffle every day and this is a bag that screams 'autumn' to me. I'm very much looking forward to receiving it. I have never 'banned' myself from buying before but starting tomorrow I hope to limit looking here and on sale sites. July was a very expensive month for me and we have school taxes due in September. If I could only forget the purple vintage bag I saw online last night...

Ooooh enjoy. I have a rust large Saddle Bag and a small, I think, Shoulder Bag (the inspired names from the '80's right?) so that should tide me over till I find a HG rust.
