I do not know if this is the right place to ask, so please move if needed. I would appreciate if someone could tell me when Coach started to brand their purses on the outside? Not the CC's on the canvas, but the imprint on the leather. Thanks in advance.

There might be something earlier but the first I can think of is the Lexington collection from 1998.

Hello! I have a couple of questions about these two courier bags.
Green, what is this color called? (I know is not Sage, or bottle green) & What approximate year?
Brown:What approximate year? Is it a Ruff Out?
Thank you, I hope you guys know something about them.

I.. am speechless. Look at that gorgeous green!!!

Hopefully someone can make a vintage bag style recommendation. Although I love the look of the Scooter and so many other small bags, they simply don't work for me. The same with backpack styles. I have now acquired far too many bags and have spent far too much money for bags that have proven to be the wrong style/fit for me....or are just too heavy. I'm not a collector, just someone searching for the "right" thing. I don't change bags frequently and tend to carry the same contents all the time.
Finally, I've narrowed it down to these needs:
A shoulder bag with an adjustable strap, at least one outside pocket, a top zip closure and at least one inside pocket that zips (I could add a bag organizer if other pockets or sections aren't already in the bag). Everything falling to the bottom is a pet peeve. It must hold a wallet, card case, keys, eyeglasses, phone, tissues and such. Admittedly I'm a bit hard on a bag, so a pebbled leather bag is more forgiving, but I could learn to live with a smooth leather bag if it's the right size.
This is a tall order I know, but does anyone have a suggestion or thought? Thank you!!
I know I'm late in responding but are you only considering a bigger bag?
If not, I have used and loved the Multizip bag (#9974). It has outside pocket, internal zip pocket (divider in the middle), card slot, internal slit pocket. The bag is pretty wide so it can fit a lot. This is one of the bags that I didn't have much expectations and turned out to be one of my favorites. It is just designed to keep all of your essentials neatly organized with a unique divider in place. Strap is long enough for crossbody.

Adjustable 49" Strap
Measures: 10 1/2"L, 6.5"H, 3"W

I'm open to any size that will comfortably fit "my essentials". I dislike digging and/or unloading my purse to find something. A center divider is a great idea. I'll check it out - thank you!

Here is one of my favorite little bags because it has a surprise inside! I don't use it because it is too small but it makes me happy to look at. I even like the way the dye faded on the edges so it looks two-tone. The style is called shoulder purse and it is style #9385. I think it was made around 1986.
Going through old posts, and this bag is awesome!!! The inside kiss-lock is the kicker.
