I'm curious.... if you have a vintage bag without a hangtag do you borrow one from another bag or wear it without? Add a charm instead? Is there a secret place to order inexpensive replacements?

My bags are happy to share hangtags if need be.

A FABULOUS alternative is @LunaSilver's exquisite tea roses !!!! Let's see if I can find some photos...

Just received a red ergo and sidepack the other day…realized how many red bags I have all of a sudden and took a family photo
the sidepack is in amazing condition so no need for a dunk, but the ergo is begging for one, you can’t tell but it has quite a few spots and stains especially on the back View attachment 5358533View attachment 5358534

Hi House!
Thanks!
Whenever I get an Alert that you mentioned me, I know before I click it I need to commence the emergency protocol:
Put on my crash helmet
Get near my fainting couch
:faint:  These are beautiful @curlizm487 !

Haha! I have this very same bag and feel the same way. Just like yours, it’s in such beautiful shape, I can’t bear to let it go. It did start to grow on me a bit when I used it. I think at the time I first got it, I was all about the crossbody. Now that I’m carrying crescents and couriers more, I’m really enjoying the shoulder bags.
I had a blavy crescent but sold it - it just didn't feel comfortable for me. It was so pristine too. *sigh*
I struggle with shoulder bags and I don't know why.

I couldn't stand that song when it first came out. The guitar rift hurt my ears but now it's full on nostalgia and as an added bonus of age, I don't hear as well so the guitar doesn't hurt.

I've never found Mark Knopfler's guitar work painful. Maybe I started losing my hearing before most people did. Or I spent too much time in my youth dating guitar players. No, no one anyone here has ever heard of.

If you ever want to see and hear Knopfler at his best, search YT for the full concert video of "Dire Straits - Alchemy". Absofreakinlutely brilliant.

My brothers were into Iron Maiden , Ramstein, Thin Lizzy , Joe Satriani, Jeff Beck, Deep Purple , Yngwee Malmsteen ,all of those guys....and I had a father who wrote and arranged music for brass band.

You could say I had eclectic tastes.

Wow, I'll say. I was sandwiched between older sisters who took over the hi-fi with the Beach Boys, Fleetwood Mac and Donna Summer and a younger brother who blared AC/DC on a boombox (which by simply living in the same airspace I know more lyrics than I care to admit to) and Genesis. I came managed to find my way with the Eagles and Steve Winwood.
But I have to admit I have not listened to a Billie elish song at all....as I dont listen to music at work as I find I cant hear people talking to me over the music and under masks.

So as a concequence I dont know the new music

Nor can I spell.

My sister played Queen day in and day out and my mom would try to drown it out with Ann Murray on the 8 track. I added Elton John to the mix and my favorite at the time - Sgt Peppers.. My dad escaped to the backyard to listen to the ball game.
