omg this is so me. I can see she’s looking beautiful in your profile pic. Such a gem how does the Winnie compare in size to the Regina?

Thanks! Here’s a close up of my profile pic if you’d like a better look :

The Regina holds much more than the Winnie but they’re both small bags. The Winnie’s dowel makes it almost look as big as the Regina from the front. Here’s some comp pics:

When it first came out, I didn’t care for it because I didn’t think I could fit what I needed to carry to my office in it. It holds more than you think possible. Bought the patchwork first on sale and have since become a big fan. Besides the 30s, I have three of the 39s (oxblood, grey, Ivy green) and one green 25 Rogue. My favorite size is the 30. You won’t be disappointed if you get one.

In the 30s I have the olive, bright red, saddle, oxblood with laced handles, colorblock beechwood/chalk in smooth leather, turquoise with laced handles, Ivy in smooth leather, patchwork in mixed leathers, and a new MTO dark tonal yellow with snakeskin handles on the way that is to die for! And the patchwork has pockets lined in a gorgeous tangerine orange. Photos of most of mine included here. My favorite so far is the red with oxblood and patchwork close behind.
Oh my gosh, so gorgeous! Maybe one day I’ll do a made to order. I would love a smooth leather one. Thank you for sharing!

So pretty!!

ETA: I kind of like it when the bags are so small the hangtags drag on the table.
This got me thinking about my Winnie tags. So I looked and I guess I‘m the opposite. I pushed up the d rings for my photo so they didn’t drag. Lol!

You’re welcome! Coach didn’t do very many smooth leather Rogues, however, you can order one custom made. I was thinking of doing an MTO in smooth leather but I don’t like the current color choices. Maybe they’ll get some new colors for spring or summer.

I saw someone selling these for £1000 + on eBay and didn’t have a clue what they were. Thanks for bringing these up. Feels like the more you learn about Coach the more there is to learn.

Curious question: How would you rank the vintage coach leather from the various countries and why?….US….Costa Rica….Mexico…Hungary….Dominican Republic….China. I only have ones from the first three and find that my fave is Costa Rican (so buttery silky soft yet a little thinner), followed by Mexican (buttery soft but thick)…wonder if diff countries use different animals or tanning process somehow to account for the differences….
For me, it depends on the style of the bag. If it’s a bag that I want structure in, I don’t go for Costa Rican leather. I got a Costa Rican Willis and I’m not wild about how floppy it is. But I love my Costa Rican 9136 Legacy Hobos (I have red and mahogany) and my slim duffle.

I have a Mexican rambler’s legacy, which is amazing because it’s soft and molds to my hip well but isn’t too floppy. Then I have a Mexico and a US Prairie and I prefer the stiffness of the US bag in that style.

I have an older US duffle sac and a newer one, but I like the floppiness of the older duffle sac (4-digit, 3-digit creed number) over the newer, more stiff one from ‘94. I like my Dinky’s stiff, so the older the better. And my NYC Rambler is perfect how stiff it is, I wouldn’t want it to be floppy.

There’s a lot that goes into choosing a bag imo!

Great points! Now I have another question. We all know that to make a stiff bag softer we condition and buff lots, but what if we want to make a floppy bag stiffer. What do we do?
