I have an assortment that checks quite a few boxes …
with that Golden Girl exceeding a lot of expectations!
I’m still in shock! It was scheduled at first to deliver tomorrow so I was shocked to get it today. Thank goodness a big enough box was used. It’s huge! I will make sure to do a comp shot with Buckle Bag, Sling and Shopper #9090. There is a hint of wear on closer look and it was stored upright (and you know Lada, the taller, heavy bags tend to drop a little and get a belly). There is a whiff of perfume and I would not doubt the paper stuffed in it is original. It has the hangtag. Small open pocket inside. Made in NYC Creed, pre-reg #. No paperwork. Seams on both sides.

Def not putty or bone. In brighter, natural light, it appears warmer/golden; in indirect light, cooler. Kind of a chameleon.
I am just curious about this. I was surprised to see how high this vintage bag sold for? $910.00 !!!!! Is this a really hard to find bag?

It is a very popular style. The seller has it misidentified. It's a pony express bag, and this one is a little rarer because it is pre-creed. Actually that is a fairly low price for this one. The condition is excellent. I've seen them up to $1500.

Here’s a laugh. I have the burnt orange Saddle and Shoulder Bag and this harvest gold Shopping Bag. All I need is something in avocado green/sage for the trifecta of the vintage 70’s appliance palette. I grew up in a kitchen with an avocado green range, dishwasher and oven.
For rust, I get it. Not for black tho. And I just can’t figure out what I would keep in those front pockets
