I decided to pass. A motivated seller would be more cooperative I think. Chances are he's not a serial killer luring women with rare vintage bags but I don't need the bags bad enough to find out.In my experience, Craigslist is full of crazies. If you really want the bags, dial *67 (if it works with your provider) to make your number anonymous to this guy or get a google voice number (its free). Then if you proceed to take the risk of meeting up with him, take someone you trust, preferably a male & only meet in the daytime at a public spot where there’s cameras. Some people have mentioned their local police stations have an area set up where buyers/sellers can safely meet to make a sale. Check if your local police stations have this.
If your gut/instincts are telling you something is wrong, listen to them. It’s not worth your safety/well-being to get some handbags. Please be careful & keep us updated if you do decide to go through with calling & meeting up with this person!
