One more point I’d like to make before I leave this. My total purchase with tax and shipping cane to $500.50. Clearly, the order was cancelled because the seller sold to a different buyer at a higher price. The photo in this post shows it the item at $600. In the original sale to me, the item price was $490. That’s a price increase if $110. So the seller cancelling my ‘paid’ order to sell to someone else at a higher price is what I’m angry about and I will not do business with someone like that.
That was an error. I sold the item through PayPal directly otherwise it would still show as sold. I let the buyer know what happened and that I didn’t want to relist on Mercari after dealing with you. Also, you are in no way obligated to buy from me. I am not forcing a sale or items on you. You are free to buy from whomever you like. At the end of the day, there’s another bag exactly the same on eBay from a different seller.

Clearly I’m here, and you chose to not talk to me directly. I deleted the listing FYI and glad I did. I’ve sold it directly to her on PayPal. Thank you for showing me that you like to hold on to hate, spew hate and not talk to me directly like an adult.

Every time I give Coach the benefit of the doubt, something like this happens. I swear I just said the other day I was liking some of the new bags. Thank you for reminding me new Coach is not old Coach. Waiting on them to sell a fake for $500.

Also, again no offense to those who buy new Coach, but I often wonder how Bonnie Cashin would feel about them using her name to sell bags now. Part of me thinks the tribute is nice, but part of me is like please don't. It's such a confusing love/hate for me.
For me, I understand it as marketing at the corporate level. They are marketing BC's history with Coach in order to make profits. And I state this simply as a fact and as a corporation, that is Coach's prerogative ( I've got what I want, a closet full of vintage and not yet vintage on the secondary market that suits my budget just fine). They need to answer to shareholders. Since before 2016, it has been on their radar that people still really enjoy the idea of craftsmanship. They did a very carefully orchestrated and well thought out video/ad back around 2016 that really plays up the idea of Coach's American heritage and craftsmanship, imo. Which I thought was ironic because their products aren't being made in the US. I was thinking, do they actually want to sell people on the idea that the 1941 line ( which was hot when this video was circulating) was being made in the US? It's still on YouTube to the best of my knowledge.

I think I need to make the observation that lately the cancellation of orders, seems to be happening more and more often, it has happened to me twice in three weeks, and of course I got upset and I even might have used certain "words", but I got the explanation, the sorry and the promises of making it up to me. If these sellers had a good feedback and nice bags, yes very disappointing but why I want to jeopardize any future deals?

If the feedback of these sellers indicates that they are dishonest and have similar complains, I would be the first to "alert" other buyers but if not, I would never put down someone and make them lose income based on my feelings, sorry... not me.

A year ago today I joined TPF to get a bag authenticated. I wasn’t planning on sticking around, but Im so glad I did. I’ve learned a lot, drastically improved my rehab skills & have made some very wonderful internet friends! So in honour of my account reaching a whole year, I would like to share my entire (current) vintage coach collection, minus a grey rambler. This isn’t being posted to the flex thread because I refuse to post there until every bag on my wish list gets crossed off (& believe me, there’s A LOT left lmao ). Colours aren’t picking up very well but I did the best I could. Here’s to many more years of collecting vintage coach & being active on the forum! :drinks::

This is the reason for my self imposed exile,:crybaby:I have very little willpower and posts like this have me running straight to ebay or etsy and god forbid I should stumble across a long desired bag:loveeyes: like today and I catch myself mentally shifting funds around:no: not a good thing. So in order to stay strong I have to stay away until I reach my desired goal of a new to me car. Not going in to hawk to do it. Only a little while longer.;)
