I've been wanting to say this but have been afraid to because the major sentiment on the forum is that everyone should continue to stay home. We got vaccinated earlier this year and the first thing we did was go to Las Vegas. Since being vaccinated, we've been going out to eat a lot.
You have to live your life. Being fully vaccinated I will still continue to wear a mask in public and practice social distancing. Being vaccinated means I will be getting out more than I have been this past year. For that, I’m grateful! We’re lucky enough to own two homes so at least I get a change of scenery. I’ve been remotely working since my office closed due to Covid and I get tired of the same four walls.

We love to travel but have not gone on any trips because we go to Europe and the Caribbean every year. 2020 is the first year we did not take our normal vacation. I think I miss that the most.

Not OG, only started in November 2019, still regret some bags I didn’t buy. One is a Lavender color Ergo flap in excellent condition for $45 something, and a bodybag remake in bright 2 tone color at a low price ( can’t remember exactly but around $30 ) , I didn’t know anything about body bag then.
ETA: find a bodybag photo made in the 90’s online, never see a listing of it again.

Same on not being OG! I started looking at vintage Coach in 2018 (though I didn't find TPF until spring 2019) and I regret not getting some bags back then; I was only buying bags that were $20 and under at the time, but there were a lot of great bags in the $40-$100 range. Courts and Reginas in different colors, the geometric shoulder bag that I'm still looking for now, Madison Gracies, and pastel bags that I stayed away from then but would love to have now. I remember seeing a handful of Hasp bags on Etsy that were around $100 and some Bonnie Cashin bags, too. I super regret not getting that Bonnie Cashin Attaché for $40 on eBay! Also a couple Winnies that I passed on that were under $100; there were 2 periwinkle ones that I had my eye on and I wish I had pulled the trigger on one! And a red one that was still pretty pricey, but about half the price of what I'm seeing now.
Lots of stuff on shopgoodwill I missed in the early days- before prices went nuts. A black Taft for what I thought was a ridiculous price- $40 lol! Several little ones, pocket purses etc that I thought were too small for me. Not so now! And the one I miss the most- a 1941 rogue that went for around 120 or so.

I miss the beat up bags just begging to be rehabbed that I turned my nose up at. I hope they all went to good homes.

These days even the crappy beat up Sig fabric bags go for crazy money on that platform. Bargains are still around, just harder to find. But thats the fun!!

Oh wow, I wish I’d discovered vintage coach a year or 2 earlier then lol. Im happy that I was able to collect what I did, but damn Im getting FOMO just reading your guys’ posts! I guess it could be worse, if anyone started this year, you’d be lucky to find anything good for under $75 now lmao

I only discovered vintage Coach summer of 2020 and have already purchased and rehabbed close to 50 bags!!!
Bought my first vintage Coach Sept 2019. Prices have really increased since even then. I haven’t counted but I’m sure I’ve bought close to 180 bags. Fortunately, I have most of the bags I really want because prices have gotten ridiculous. Unless it’s something I’m dying to have or a HTF color I won’t buy it.

I wore my rust suspender bag for the first time last week since getting it last July.
Sure, it didn’t leave the car because I went to pick up curbside groceries but it did get carried from the house to the car and back again.

It was on the chopping block for a bit, but now I cannot let go of it again. Do you guys have any bags you know won’t get a lot of wear but keep in your collection for whatever reason it is? For me it’s this strange one, haha.

I love this! I would love to find one.

The bag that won't get a lot of wear but I'll always keep is my pre-creed suede watermelon. I have a few other BC bags that I only carry occasionally because I don't want to wear them out, and one that I've never carried.

We still wear masks and social distance as it is required most places.

I once won an auction for a classic pouch for 99 cents plus $10 shipping. It was in pretty sad shape though.

Even back in 2012 when I first started collecting vintage, I often paid $50 or $60 for bags.

Mine would be my red Post Pouch or my rust Pony. I just love to look at them but I won't carry them very often. Maybe once in a while or to a special occasion event but they're definitely not daily carry bags. One day I would like to carry my Pony into a Coach store and see if anyone recognizes it. Just for fun and for a reason to go.
You should carry your Pony to as many different Coach stores as possible until someone recognizes it! Then they get a special prize, I’m not sure what that could be, but they will win... they will win this imaginary game! Edit: Maybe a ribbon that says “First to Recognize a Quality Coach Bag” har har I kid, I kid

Thanks! What other BC bags do you own? Now that I asked this question, I forgot about my yellow retro swing bag (the 50th anniversary one, not BC) that I also have never worn but cannot let go of! Edit: I FORGOT ALSO MY LINDY BAG. Oops.

Is this suede on the outside? There’s a few iterations of this bag, right? Similar style but some are more rectangular?

Was hoping for anyone’s thoughts on that White vintage coach From the 90s? Style I really want and found it NWOT and original box and packaging for 120.00 but so scared of the white.... or bone.... but looks more white...anyone use this color ? Did it get dirty very fast ?

Oh and I turned down an unused with tag city bag for 175.00 from 2011 last week and a Janice 9966 with tags unused From 92 today as would have been 185 with tax and shipping.... just last year I was getting unused in box rambler and city for 80.00 each...... is the price of vintage just going through the roof... it’s not as fun to buy when you know youre paying same price for new discounted and yours not getting a deal... I loved those bags but the price??!!!
