I can understand you doing it. I found a Precreed convertible clutch thats the same age as me.Yes. I guess Im not very stealth at hiding my age.![]()
That's a slippery slope! I resisted getting prime for years. Once I did, I wanted to get my money's worth. During lockdown, I ordered a ton of things! Since we weren't leaving the house to go shopping, I used Amazon to get a lot of basic supplies. I'm embarrassed by how many orders I had in 2020.

Its kind of cool to have,...especially if the bag is in great condition.
This is the only thing I could find that claims it's from 1965.yeah, except it seems my age and the age of the bags I found don’t match. What I’d really like to find is a small leather accessory like a coin purse/wallet etc. we’ll see. I’ll keep, looking.
Hi everyone! Hope everyone is having a good day so far! I have what is probably a silly question but even though I have researched and tried to figure this out I thought I’d just ask all of you. When a vintage bag is made in the U.S. - I have seen D as the country code but I’m also finding C as the country code .....did the code change at some point, are the C bags authentic?
In short- does anyone know what the country codes are?![]()
Thank you!!!D isn't the only plant US had. You'll find A, B, C and D with Made in United States. Always get it authenticated though when in doubt.
If you are determined, here is a 1965 Coach ad, all those bags going to be expensive unless you are really lucky. From what I can tell, they are “shoppers or shopping bag?”, “ feed bag”, “barrel bag”... name may not correct, but they are all Bonnie Cashin....Ok since you guys are so much better at this than I am, I would like to find a coach item from 1965 at a reasonable to moderate price. I am getting it for someone born that year. Pretty open to any idea if anyone has any. Thanks as always.

Thank you! I thought I was getting to the point where I knew what to look for- then I get confused. If I remember correctly, I had a bag authenticated by the authenticators here and it was a Made in the United States bag with a L plant code. I'll try to find the post and post it here.
Hey even I have to go back to the salearea guides to refresh my memory.Thank you! I thought I was getting to the point where I knew what to look for- then I get confused.
I was just giving examples. I wasn't listing all the US plants ... There's G and H also IIRC.If I remember correctly, I had a bag authenticated by the authenticators here and it was a Made in the United States bag with a L plant code. I'll try to find the post and post it here.

It's a page from a 1965 catalog so it doesn't have any date on the page itself. I have been looking for these items but they are super hard to find as Coach didn't even stamp their brand name on these products back in the day! So they won't be listed as Coach by anyone. It would be awesome if you could find one! I have been looking and have not been successful.
