This is an authentic original Rambler Bag made by Coach. This is one of those gorgeous classic bags made of durable glove tanned cowhide leather. It was made in the original factory in New York City, USA in the mid to late 1980s. The leather is a beautiful rich mahogany brown and is smooth and firm.

The Maghony color is very nice too, amazing condition. I think the smell will air out eventually. Did you ask the seller about the cause of smell?

Some of mine are stored in 2 glass door cabinets( some bags are inside cardboard boxes stacked at bottom, display the ones just for eye candy at top shelves ). The ones get used recently are hanging on a coat tree, the ones for rotation are stored in 2 purse hanging organizers ( 8 for each organizer), then the ones hardly used are inside cardboard boxes and stacked on the top shelves in the closet. I really need to decide which to keep, which to let go.

wow your collection is massive! I have 11 bags in my permanent keep pile and then 9 in my rehab pile to sell. Id need to get another room to store as much as you haha! the purse organizers seem like a good idea but I don’t have anywhere to hang them. Im gonna go purchase the ikea shelf today and hope for the best :)
