Can anybody ID the color of this (non authenticated) little one? The seller calls it 'brown', but it looks very distinctly red to me.

The only catalog I can find it in is the 1998 New Collections book, and of the colors listed the only one that seems to fit is mahogany.
BUT - it has a 1999 year code and Currant was available on some other "classic" styles in 1999 so there's a slim chance it might be Currant. The seller's photo seems a bit over-lighted (over-lit?) and was taken outside so that might affect the color. There are only 3 catalogs in my files from 1999 and it's not in any of them. Or it could have been made for the outlets and wouldn't have been in the catalogs. I'm leaning toward Mahogany.

I also vote for currant, for the same reasons, although I've never seen currant with contrast stitching.I vote for Currant, based on the production year (1999) and the nickel hardware.

I don't recall ever seeing it in that color.Speaking of Rambler's Legacy, was it ever made in green?

Yes it didQuestion.... Did the Court ever come in grey with nickle hardware?
Ha! Forgot about the city too!Now that I think about it too, I remember seeing a purple city bag once on ebay, made maybe in later years? Also, I did not know the Willis came in purple!
Good luck to all the purple bag hunters out there. May a purple bag wave occur soon!
Edit: yes, here is what I saw https://www.ebay.com/itm/312990508313
Interesting, now I wonder if my super beloved want-to-keep-pristine-behind-glass Rambler is currant. It looks a lot darker than the catalogue photo, but has nickle hardware and is from '99. I had assumed it was burgundy.I vote for Currant, based on the production year (1999) and the nickel hardware.

Yup, did you see the one on mercari??Question.... Did the Court ever come in grey with nickle hardware?
Whatever it is, it sure is pretty! My fingers tingle when hovering over the BIN button.I also vote for currant, for the same reasons, although I've never seen currant with contrast stitching.
Almost bought that last month but I chose to go with an olive one instead. Wait no, I just checked the serial number. It's Loden from 1998.Whatever it is, it sure is pretty! My fingers tingle when hovering over the BIN button.
Funny, I'm also currently watching both this and a Loden one. How do you like yours? I love this style strap solution and bet it's really comfortable, but it might be a tad too small for me. Would you mind sharing what fits in yours?Almost bought that last month but I chose to go with an olive one instead. Wait no, I just checked the serial number. It's Loden from 1998.
