Because they are so hard to find is the reason I broke down and bought the new Originals royal purple flap bag from Nordies. I am never diligent or patient enough to find a vintage resale in purple.
That's why I caved and got the Curved Top Handle in the yellow color from the Originals line. I have wanted a Regina in yellow forever, and they are near impossible to find.

They do, but the problem with purple is that it was one of those colors that dosent age well. Most purples, that were once rich and dark, turn redish when exposed to the elements. Coach also made different "purples". Some more opaque and bluish others more translucent and redish.

So far I’ve seen these styles in purple: Station, Casey, Kimball, Sling, Ergo. I actually just saw a purple station earlier today that went in like 30 seconds after I saw it haha: https://www.ebay.com/itm/184254826235

Not sure if that’s the shade you want. Condition of the bag also vary. Others may chime in if they’ve seen other styles. I was lucky to find a purple sling ... but it also took a long time of looking. Purple is definitely rare but they are out there.
That’s very close to the shade I want. There’s also the Everett, but it’s very small.

I see plenty of Ergo around, but it just doesn’t appeal to me.

Wow, I just looked at that (already sold) Station, and now I hope someone reveals it on the rehab thread. I want to know if the front panel was really really dusty or really really faded. It so clearly shows the outline of the tab.

I think it was really faded. I'm curious to see if it turns up on the R&R thread too and I hope it's a success story because I want to learn how to fix faded leather!

Dear Unablers, I need to get a parental control type app for Ebay. In the meantime, please complain about your Small Legacy Zip to me. Is it full after you put a lipstick and receipt in there? People assume it's your five-year old's doll's daughter's purse? It was fine until your teacup Chihuahua swallowed it in one bite? Spill! TIA.
If you have concerns, then don't buy it, otherwise you will end up regret it. Also if you don't like the style, don't buy it for the color, same as if you don't like the color, don't buy it for the style. If you have patience, the perfect bag will pop up in front of you eventually.

Good advice, I think I need to hear this today  (currently trying to wait patiently for several bags in the right colors)

You did great, this bag is a stunner! Unique shape, happy color. Do you see yourself dunking it in twenty years or do you think it's not dunk material?
I won't need to dunk it. My first Coach is from 2001 and it looks brand new. Bags I own get babied- and the fact I have so many, they don't get worn out, lol!

Ok guys...am thinking ahead to Christmas and a briefcase of some description for my brother. Big enough for an ipad and with the dowel on top and two front pockets and a shoulder strap.
Does anyone have briefcases in their collection to give me an idea of size and style name number.
Not buying yet but trying to see if its practical for him. Prefer vintage to rehab.
Pictures with size comparison would be great.
