So I looked it up, because it was bothering me, I had 9340 in a very similar blue like the center Janice, but with gold hardware. It did have contrast stitching as I remembered and I believe the color was denim. I wonder if that is the actual name for this one too? :confused1:
I think I have that one too. The leather is nice and soft. I'm not a shoulder bag person so it's not getting used.

What is your favorite Bonnie Cashin bag and why? I don’t know the exact history as to when she stopped designing bags for Coach so I guess it is fluid as to what counts as a Bonnie Cashin style. I’m looking to add one but I don’t know if I just want one to have or to actually be functional (eg, handheld totes, straps not long enough for crossbody, etc). Photos would be great if not too much of a hassle :)

The one I want the most, at least that comes to mind immediately, is the Safari bag. It came in some awesome color combinations. Before I really got into vintage Coach, I lost out on an auction because I refused to go over $70. I think the auction ended under $100. Now you'd be lucky to find one under $500.

To be a real Bonnie Cashin, it can't have a creed. There are some pre-creed styles that may not have been designed by her but it is pretty hard to prove. If you find one with the striped or otherwise patterned lining, I'm pretty sure those are Bonnie Cashin.

Is there somewhere you can find her styles listed like catalogs, or is it mostly from gathering info from here and other places online when bags surface?

Looking for the posting of "RL Bernstein" from the old vintage Coach photos, she has a closet full of BC bags, it is such a treat to just go through those pages, looking at those beautiful bags image, as well as learn the names of each bag.
I attached the link below, from page 10 and up. You will love it.

You are welcome. Curious which style of Bonnie Cashin you are interested in getting?
I’m not sure yet! Some have definitely caught my eye. I know they are harder to find and more expensive, so I wanted to see what was out there first. It’ll also help me maybe recognize them when I go thrifting again after coronavirus is over (if I ever find them there).
