The other day I saw a seller on ebay selling Coach that lives in my city. I'm so curious as to who it is! The closing of the poker room had nothing to do with coronavirus. It was a decision management made, I guess because it wasn't bringing in as much profit as the rest of the casino.I can’t believe we’re neighbors! I always say we’re in the middle of nowhere and when people ask where in Cali I am, I tell them I’m not even on the map.
I live by the casino and go there every last Friday of the month for their five dollar breakfasts, but never really went to gamble except play bingo. I had heard that they were closing certain areas of the casino, but didn’t realize they did it that long ago.
Yeah, we managed for awhile. My main concern now is that those cases have already started the chain of exposure. I hope we manage to contain it since the towns in this county are so small and medical facilities are on the more modest scale.
I was just telling another TPFer that I was looking forward to the time when we’ll be able to head out. Every weekend we would hit up the farmer’s market in the mall parking lot and go to the outlets near you. I know that they continue to do the farmers market, but I try not to venture out too much and stay close to town. Hope during the isolation you’re remaining in good spirits and everyone in your household is healthy and safe.
I’m leaning towards blue now too. Thanks for the comparison catalog pic!I think it's Blue too.
Thank you! Interesting to see that the Watson came in both Blue and Yellow.
These are from Fall 1997, showing Blue. It looks pretty dark.

I completely agree. I think many of us have read too many listicles on how to look smaller (avoid big flower prints, go for vertical stripes, black pencil skirt and heels to trim down your hips, etc.) and it creates a mindset of 'if you CAN make yourself look slimmer, it follows that you SHOULD'. I spent my early twenties battling an eating disorder and found out that in order to stop judging myself I needed to stop judging others based on their appearance and style choices, so that's what I do. A fabulous bag on a fabulous lady is fabulous, no matter the size of either the bag or the lady.I'm 45, 5'7", and wear on average a size 8 (so kinda thick in some places like thighs and booty and not thick in others like arms and stomach). I carry mini backpacks and smaller bags all the time and never feel uncomfortable. In fact, I'm carrying a mini Hello Kitty Loungefly backpack today and am rocking it. I don't feel too old or too big for anything. There was someone on here who posted a mod shot with their pocket purse and mentioned she was petite, and you could tell because the purse looked like a different bag on her (think a Chanel Jumbo), but on me it looks like a WOC and lands at my hip. If I like it and it's functional for my lifestyle, I'm getting it. Bags can complement any body types and that's why I can appreciate any size bag on any size body!
I don't think smaller bags make people look bigger or smaller, so no need to be paranoid. If you like it, rock it like Lizzo.

Thank you!! Very helpful!! I’ve been trying to figure out what color the Watson I’m currently rehabbing is, but I have no comparison for what a Blue vs a Navy color would be. It actually darkened a little after the bath and conditioning. Either way, I think I’m happy to just have a bag that looks blue vs. navy-blue-black.
I'm sorry and I hope she is better soon! It's in my cart.. but I don't feel like buying anything.. my mom is in the hospital after gallbladder surgery..![]()
I think it's blue, too! I have a, I suspect, blue Janice legacy and a navy blue Casino from the 90s. My Casino is definitely a darker blue.I’m leaning towards blue now too. Thanks for the comparison catalog pic!
I don't think looking young is the main issue, just that such a tiny bag may not be very practical, although it would work for times when you just want to be hands free and carry minimal items.
I am not skinny (size 12) but I do sometimes wonder if a tiny bag will make a large person look bigger? Just my paranoia.
Sometimes that is true. The first time I saw someone with a Sophia, I was surprised that a bag with dimensions that sounded like a medium large bag could look so small. When I sold one of mine, the buyer returned it because it made her look fat!
I have a small frame but sometimes small bags look ridiculous on me. Extremely large bags do too.

Ummmm...I’m 47 and remember that I own 7 of them!!! Lol.Perfect sense.

We're doing fine during isolation. We made the decision early on to isolate since I have asthma and DH has heart disease. I feel comfortable knowing we haven't been exposed since we haven't left the house in 3 weeks. DH had the foresight to go shopping before there was a run on the markets, and since then, I've had things delivered. I'm happy we're in it together. I can't imagine having to do it alone.
Before we moved here, we lived in another California town with a population of 112. Most people don't realize how much of Cali is agricultural. They think everything is like Los Angeles.
ETA: Actually before we moved here, we considered moving to a town near you, but then we smelled the water. This was about 15 years ago. I think they've fixed it by now, but it was horrible back then. I didn't even want to take a shower in it.

Spam! My parents are from the PhilippinesI’m also very Filipino and the lack of Spam on the shelves had me reeling.
Anytime I see someone from surrounding cities selling something on the secondary market, I always wonder if they’re members.
Fortunately, for me I have no underlying health issues, but my brother moved out here two decades ago and he’s diabetic and asthmatic. He’s been isolating for one week, but his job won’t allow that for much longer. I’m glad that you and your husband have been safe. I’m considered essential at my place of employment, but get to telework MWF. Unlike you though I live alone and I didn’t pick up anything. I go grocery shopping when I need it, so that’s almost every three days. I’m also very Filipino and the lack of Spam on the shelves had me reeling.
Lol about the water. When my family would visit in those early years, they couldn’t believe that smell and that restaurants would actually serve water to drink like that. It has improved a lot.
I’m always surprised when people end up in the valley. I moved here for the military and just stayed. The cost of living is great for California and we’re located centrally to everything so I never could complain.
I just had this conversation with a co-worker. All those fashion dos and don’ts that attempt to make you fit a certain ideal can drive a person crazy.
It’s always good to hear from someone who was able to fight their demons and realize in the process that there’s no set standard for being amazing. Your last sentence truly made me smile.
Spam! My parents are from the PhilippinesMy mom is always stocked up on Spam and she made a spam and potato omelet for lunch for us yesterday. (She's coming over to watch my toddlers so I can work.) I was more surprised at the lack of Vienna sausage! I grew up eating Vienna sausage with rice, and I was kind of craving it. I also love canned corned beef with potatoes - so sad that there was also no corned beef at the grocery. My MIL gave us a big bag of potatoes and I would have loved to make that dish. I keep wondering if all the people hoarding these canned meats will actually eat it!
My green Crosby arrived. I like the color and the size. Plan to dunk it Monday as it has some scratches and rubs
